Story: Year: Far in the future. Location: Yellow Fog Galaxy, somewhere on the bridge between Rhomul System and the peripherial rings of the Federation. The Sun slowly fade out under submission of a black hole that no one knew before. Executing your duties as an engineer in a crew that observes the temperature of the Sun, you ( Apo Lanski ) notice a small problem with the shuttle when you just started your night shift. Landing on a small planet called Zhena was a wise move, because your shuttle is old 3rd generation machine...

COSMOS QUEST I - WALKTHROUGH (HINTS)

Zhena:
You are infront your space pod that is overheated. You need to cool down the engine. Go to east. Then go south. Use knife to cut a cloth from from the big white piece of cloth. Go back infront the pod. Go near the hose. Look at the hose hole. Use cloth on hose hole. Now you have oily peice of cloth. Go west. Then go south. Use oily cloth on the plant (the one that have a shells). Exit room. Go back. Now the plant is dead. Take the shell from the ground. Go back in space pod room. use shell on the lake. Now you have shell filled with water. Open space pod engine. Pour water over the engine. Close engine door. Go in pod. (click on the right side of the pod).

Inside space pod:
Turn on autopilot. Look the upper side inside the pod. There are two writings. Read what is written (separetely). Then look the monitor. These are the coordinates' mask for Radion space station. Look your Id card from inventory. On the backside are writen many numbers. Use coordinates mask from monitor with these numbers. Example. (12, 8) is 12th column, 8th row. When you use mask from the monitor over these numbers you'll get the Radion space station coordinates (29097626). Click on the keyboard. Enter Radion Space station coordinates. Now go. The lever is stuck but you can use the second lever button (the red button in the upper side of the pod. (animation)

Captain's Talk:
Talk with captain again. He will adjust your pod coordinates for Jaro Motor Inn where you have to find sergent GETZ who have to fix the pod. Use second lever button again.

Outside Jaro Motor Inn:
You are infront Jaro Motor Inn. Talk with guard. He will not let you in. He don't like you. Give him the oily cloth. You realize that he very sensitive to Zhenian oil. He will not take the cloth. Look at the two planets (points). Go near left oxigen tank. You see a locked door. There is a hole in it. Put a oily cloth in the hole. And go near right oxigen tank. You see the ventilation control center. You see the scheme for the building. You have to adjust air to flow toward the guard vent, and you have to close and open few vents. The oxigen comes from the tanks. Oxigen tank vents have to be opened. All other vents should be closed except the one near the guard. Now the oil smell is flowing toward guard. The oil allergy hits him. Go and talk with him again and he will let you in.

Inside Jaro Motor Inn:
Talk with the alien-woman who sit alone. Then talk with the fat woman - the bartender. Go and talk with the the woman who is alone again. Now you know that the bartednder droped her eggand that's why she is so unhappy . Look on the one of the stool. There is a business card. Take it. Go behind the bar. Look in metal trash bin and take the boiled egg (it's still warm). Talk with the man on the sofa. Go south. You are in the motel reception. The girl don't allow you inside the motel. You ask her about your rind who have to fix the pod. Look the wall. there is accommodation certificate. Look at it. It's expired. There is a seal on the certificate. Use egg (which is still warm) with certificate seal. Now you have seal copy over the egg. Use egg on the card. Now you have fake ID card from the Rhomulian accommodation agency. (if you don't beleive in this trick - try it for real if you want to copy a seal to another document ) Show he card to the girl. Enter the elevator. (animation) (You are kidnapped from the Ayatolians).

Planet Ayatolia:
You are locked in cage. Take the rock from inside the cage. Use it on the pipe valve (not on the pipe). Exit cage. Go east. Look in the chamber which is near the tunel. Listen the conversation. Enter the tunnel. Now you are in the desert. Go east. You'll see the sand cage. Drop shell in the cage to check if the is someone inside. There is another prosoner - Ven. Talk with him. He will tell you about the transmitter which is somewhere around. He will tell you how the transmiter can be activated (by banging on a metal door three times - some kind a password for Ayatolians). Now go in the room with your cage. Bang on the big door. Someone inside activates the transmiter. Go to the desert last east room. You'll see the transmiter. Click on it. You have to enter the frequency of the Radion Space Station. How you can find it? Go to the room with the tunnel to the desert. There is a spy folder with the conversations in the one of the cages. There are some recorded conversations and one of them is the conversation between you and captain when he sent you to Jaro Motor Inn. You can see the frequency of the Radion Space Station there (just above the conversation). Go to the
transmiter and enter the frequency. Talk with the captain. He will tell you that he is sending shuttle pod 2 to Ayatolia. Now go the room with your cage and you'll hear the shuttle coming. Then go to the room east of the sand cage. Enter the suttle pod 2.

Radion Space Station:
Go to captain's room (east - lower platform). Use intercom near the captain's door. Talk with him. You are telling him about the Ayatolians and about the conversation that you heard on Ayatolia. The captain is pleased. He is sending you on Pitla - the space explorer station where you always wanted to work. Exit captain's room. Then go on upper platform and enter the station. Here is the end of the first chapter of Cosmos Quest.
