It felt like a cross between silent hill 1 and 2. actuly if the Silent Hill movie used the same mix as this then it would have been way better!

So, what are these Dan Text Parser Games like?

They are very similar to "damn text parser games" but they tend to be typed by people who have reached the end of their lunch hour and hence should actually be working.

I've now finished the game. Never thought that I'd have to enter THAT as a command in a game. Respect to Yahtzee for even thinking of that one.

P.S. Congrats on catching someone else out in a spelling error Karmillo. You're well on your way to becoming an acolyte of Rob.

Text-based does rely on you being able to come up with the right words sometimes (as in my problem) but it does allow you to build puzzles that have to be solved with thought instead of "use everything on everything"

It wasnt that you mispelt it that got me but the fact that you had went back and edited your post and managed to leave it in

And yeah that was a great final puzzle, I came across it by getting frustrated by all his whining

It was the first thing I typed when that scene started, which was of course way too early to work. I kept trying things like

Spoiler:
"strangle self", "cut wrists", "stop breathing", "bleed"

I guess I've always been waiting for this puzzle. By the time Trilby was ready, I had given up on this solution and moved on to attempting other things.

Did any of those result in anything?

i'd try for myself but I'm far too full of moral fibre to consider typing such things.
