Graphics Person Needed?

I'm looking for a serious project to jump on or be a part of. Dedicated group only. I do backdrop graphics and intro\cutscene movies\animation.

Wow, those look awesome!

Coincidentally, backgrounds are my weak point; I enjoy creating characters (2D and 3D) a lot more. Maybe if I were to do a 3D adventure game sometime in the near future, we could work something out...

:)

But right now, I'm trying to finish the game I'm working on.

Squinky and Trumgottist - separated at birth?

Karmillo 01-27-2006 03:15 PM

You may be on to something there Lacey...something big...

stuboy 01-27-2006 03:46 PM

:) impressive

RLacey 01-27-2006 04:12 PM

If I had a game in production, Wreck, I'd try to sign you. That's how nice I think these are :).

Squinky 01-27-2006 04:16 PM

Good grief. Another twin? As if meeting another Squinky on the AGS forums wasn't enough...

I'm sorry, Squinky. What were you saying?

Adventurous One 01-27-2006 05:09 PM

Wow! That certainly is osme impressive artwork. I'm currently part of an adventure game project; you mention that you can do movies/animation? You might be interested in our project. See my sig or e-mail me.

Then people wouldn't be satisfied with them and wanted better graphics...

(Edit): And just to clarify, I'm not saying that that would be because the graphics are bad, but because, well, figure it out...

I have a few animation demo's here since some people asked about what I said about doing intros\animation:

A. Fantasy - Link

B. Action - Link

C. Space Quest Intro - Link

D. Demo Reel - Link

RLacey 01-30-2006 07:59 AM

Woah. Those be impressive.

UPtimist 01-30-2006 12:49 PM

Indeed.

What is that music by the way? In the fantasy one I mean...

Dasilva 01-30-2006 01:13 PM

You rendered all that?!

Wreck 01-30-2006 02:34 PM

All the work is mind yes. The music in the Fantasy one I believe is a piece from Pearl Harbor. I'd have to go back and check my files though. I can't be certain on it.

Hope there is a project out there I can jump on. I need a dedicated work to fill my time with.

Spiwak 01-30-2006 02:53 PM

Damn, man. The water effects in the fantasy one looked spectacular. And the Action one too, very natural animation. I'll never read your posts in the same way again. :P

Adventurous One 01-30-2006 04:57 PM

Very nice. I especially like the SQ one.

PS Check you're PMs ;)

Wreck 01-30-2006 07:51 PM

Checked my PM's and I replied and emailed. Thanks man.
