i just think the KQ1 and 2 remakes are not bad, and feel this KQ3 remake would be even better ...I guess I'll just wait for its release instead of playing the original KQ3 after I 've finished KQ2 remake

KQ3 was finally released, so now you know that you guys can trust IA. Our team is currently working on KQ4 and we are in full production. We have some very talented artists on board. I think we have something like 10% of the backgrounds done, which is not every much, but our artists are quick and o good work. Still, I have no clue when we will release, since we really do not have deadlines. You can get up-to-date information at our main site or our forums.

It seemed fitting for me as well, having investigated everything carefully from the beginning, to write it out for you in consecutive order, Most Excellent Theophilus

Same reason they'll no doubt remake Citizen Kane one day with Ben Affleck in the title role. There's always an audience for these things because people will only pay attention to old stories when they're given a face lift. It's a shame though, because the original almost always proves best.

Damn straight!
I´ll never bother to play the remakes of Kings Quest 1-4 because i love the originals so much. There´s no way the new versions will beat the old ones.

I'm pretty sure than the remake of KQ1 and 2 and much better than the originals in every regards, especially in the case of KQ2.
