Zak McKracken - Between Time and Space: Demo

Yet another Zak fangame! And you can download the demo here:
http://www.zak2.org/cms/front_content.php?idcat=31
(oh, by the way, the demo is in german)
I played the game for a bit but quit soon after, it´s soooo slow.:frusty:

Uh, yeah, that demo's been out for maybe a year now. And the project's also been going for years :P

Hamham Chan 12-31-2005 11:40 AM

Yeah, i´ve been following this game for a couple of years.:)
But i didn´t know there was a demo until recently.

Am i the only one interested in this?
C´mon guys, this is a sequel to the greatest game ever, Zak McKracken!:D

I downloaded it and I got nowhere, thanks to incomprehensible German flittering the screen with every action I attempted. Still, I wouldn't play for more than two minutes German or not.

I'm interested. I've had the page bookmarked for a while now, but with the lack of updates and all, one slowly loses interest.

It seems most major fan projects either trudge on eternally or fade into oblivion.

I love the art style. :)

The Zak demo was slow as syrup on my computer.:frown:
How about you guys?

The folks behind the new Zak McKracken fangame have travelled to the Us to meet David Fox, the creator of the original Zak McKracken game:

Looks pretty cool. Shame i can't understand a word of german, though. :frusty:

I even remember their first demo. That was an entirely different game. I really loved its graphics..

EDIT: No wait, that was the Alien Rockstars game. So confusing.

Marvel (the team leader) told me that ZBTAS should be released early this year - it's been in beta since late last year. It's been in development since 2002, which makes it a real baby compared with the alien rockstars game - in development since 1996! I'll post the news as it happen on my site: The Zak McKracken Archive

That's nothing! My Zak McKracken fan game has been under development since 1979.

Both, though I expect the German version will come out first. Also, whenever they give a date it always ends up slipping, but they are making genuine progress.

Aw, you had me going there for a minute until I re-read the date. :)
