The Legend Of old Man in the Cabin
An old man lived in a small cabin way up in the hills behind Ojai. All that he wanted was to be left alone, choosing to live a hermit's life out in the woods. And for the most part he was left to himself until one day a group of children that were out hiking in the woods came upon his cabin while he was away. The kids were mischievous and started thrashing about inside the cabin. The old man returned to find the children still there making a mess of his humble home. The man became very angry and enraged, yelling at the kids to get out, but the kids began to tease him, mocking his way of life. The old hermit ran the children off and they returned to their camp. This was a nasty group of kids and later as they sat around discussing the incident they all decided that the old man needed to be taught a lesson.[When they return they found the old man gone .Everyone decided to leave but one stayed behind to explore the cabin and see what happen to the old man in the cabin.

If you get time could you try this flash puzzle and tell me if it is to hard or to easy?
http://gbcgames.siteburg.com/wall/ To rotate piece hold key "R" and click left mouse button Says at the bottom. |
Not too bad; that rotation method is a pain though.
|
Hope that banner didn't get in the way.
Thanks for trying it out. |
I don't think a nine-tile puzzle can be too hard. :) I agree about the rotation method - it needs some time to get used to.
|
Finished it very quickly- didn't mind the rotation.

Thank you guys and gals , you have been a great help to me.
One of the rooms later on in the game. Attachment 587 |
If the rotation system had a second key to let you rotate it the other way then it would be good
|
Well it's getting there and was thinking to let something out to see what kind of feed back I get . ( Hides under table)
The demo is just about the full size of the game but only lets you play about a 1/4 of the game but gives you the feel I think. You will see the intro ( needs work) and the cabin and some of the outside. I uploaded it at rapidshare.de a free host , so just click the link when the page opens scroll down to the bottom and on the right you will see a free button . click that scroll down again and put the three letter code in and click then wait for the link to come up. They are a pain in the butt but fast for downloading and uploading. Your file The_Cabin.zip (47485542 Bytes) is now online. Your Download-Link: http://rapidshare.de/files/8717348/The_Cabin.zip.html If you like the demo you can uninstall it but keep the installer as I will make a patch that will update it to the full game when it is ready. |
Is that the Unreal engine being used?
|
Looks like the Half Life 1 engine to be honest. :)

It is a rar file so if you can't do rar files you can grab the exe here. Just click the free button on the bottom right . It is a small demo but should give you some idea on how the game is so would be cool if you tell me if you like it and should I go on or just stop now! |
