Default V: The Adventure Game

So you like the classic scifi miniseries V, but wish it came in a more interactive form? Well, your wait is over. A group of fans are working on a V adventure game based on Sierra's AGI engine.

Isn't amateur game making great? We don't even need those damn network executives any more. We'll make the sequel ourselves!

That looks very very nice. Very old school!

The makers of this V game are obviously Sierra fans.
I´m glad that the Sierra legacy lives on.

Oh, wow. This looks like a good one. That's a great choice of engine to use, as well.

Yeah, it's only appropriate to do a game about an 80's movie with 80's graphics.

If 80's graphics sucked balls, as they did, is it fair to assume that an 80's sci fi show sucked balls as well?

They didn't suck back then. And V still doesn't suck.

This game's been in production for about 4 years now, so don't get your hopes up...

Well, there are only four guys working on it, and they're doing it in their free time. So I would expect it to take a while.

Besides, they relaunched the site last October, and the forum was updated a few months ago. So I don't know if this project is going to be completed or not, but there do appear to be some signs of life.

The humour in the game is pretty tongue in cheek, they even make some references to Beastmaster!
(Marc Singer, who played Mike Donovan in V, also starred in Beastmaster)

It was pretty predictable, but man was it fun.
