You REALLY should make The Longest Journey first on your list. It is just an amazing experience. It's also nice that it is not expensive or hard to find either. Still Life and the Syberia's should also be on your to-play list. Enjoy!

If you can do the game in French (I believe that you are Belgian), the game will be republished by Micro Application (compatible xp) and will leave on September 16. It is already in "preorder" on Alapage.com

Yeah, you can. Just select buy, fill in the form and read everything along the way. I just transferred the money to Funcom's account after that and I got it in less than a week I think.

I recently found and bought Runaway for 129 NOK here in Norway. For us, that's cheap, the game usually cost 399-499 anywhere else I found it.

129 NOK is about $20 or £11 or 17 euro.

The introduction looked interesting. I didn't want to start playing the game right away, cause I was going away for a few days. But now that I've come back I can finally start playing it without interuptions.

Wasnt overly impressed with The Longest Journey, too many annoyances (like no response when you use an item with something that doesnt work), but definately try Runaway, its similar in Style to The Curse of Monkey Island. Also try Gibert Goodmate (i LOVE that game).

I thought it was more convenient, an item that worked with another item flashed...it saved you all the effort of actually clicking the two objects together

I'm in the UK and will quite happily sell you my copy of The Last Express, boxed. Just give me a while to figure out how much for.

What do you mean by old ones? The classic adventures in the style of Sierra and Lucasarts? Since this is usually what people mean by "old ones", you should strike out The Last Express from your short list and play The Longest Journey and Runaway. These two are the only "classic-style" games that are really worth playing (I'm talking about stuff that went out in the last five years of course). Black Mirror is also OK. You can also check out Martin Mystere, but that's a little weak.

I saw what other people recommended here, but I think that if you really like classics, you should ignore Syberia (both of them), Still Life, Mysterious Island, Fahrenheit, Echo, and almost everything on Antoinetta's top 50 list (well, everything beside GK and the games I already recommended myself )

The runaway drove me crazy.
i sat there trying to combine items, and then if you are wrong he would say somthing in a really nasal voice like " i dont think that will work "
but still its a pretty cool game
