Default Sam & Max: Dancing butt-shavers

What? Okay well now that you're sufficiently intrigued, I will depress you.

LucasArts animator (and contributor to the excellent Hickee comic compilations) Joe White has put up an animation portfolio on his site which, awesomely/sadly, contains a few hitherto unseen clips from Sam & Max Freelance Police, including scenes from the dance-off, and a scene of Max shaving his butt in the paper shredder.

Oh man, somewhere in an alternate dimension there is an entire game full of this stuff.

Watch them and weep. Tear off the scabs! Start wallowing!!

I spotted this here on the Sam & Max.net forums. Yes, the forums to my own site, which I never update and never read. ¬ ¬

Yes, in Bizarro World. I hear adventure games are quite popular there.

It's also worth pointing out that Sam apparently doesn't know how to moonwalk. You hold the arched-up foot still while sliding the flat-on-the-ground foot back.

Um, all you really need to know is that Jake just told his age in a roundabout kind of way.

And this animation shows a little of the city street in Sam & Max. Cool!

And this shows Max in black and white with some film noir-music walking from a bed where a girl is lying. I wonder what they were doing?

But nothing beats the dance video. That's just great.

I don't think they would listen Hammerite, they have been quite some sell-outs latley.

I'm glad I haven't played Sam and Max, and I don't think I will since I just will long for the second one

Personally I'm just happy to see them move again, they look great, especially Max.

I'm done with mourning over this, so any more of this kind of footage would just be a bonus as far as I'm concerned. It would be great if some footage of Flint were to somehow resurface.

The only thing I can see coming from that is Lucas Legal having Joe White remove the clips from his page.

I'm with The Seed pretty much 100% in regards to how I feel about Freelance Police, but a little melodrama was necessary in the opening post.

Those scenes were awesome! It's sad to know that the game will never be, but this is not the end of the road for our furry friends anyway, so no worries.
