Default Homages to AGs in your house?

I'm sure that some other people are as nerdy as me and have stuff in their house for no other reason than its connection to AGs...... (drops stone into well... waits.....waits...waits...) Well, anyway-- I was curious if people did stuff like this too, so here goes--

Well, I don't really have any direct homages in plain sight... But my Graduation quote in my yearbook (Which I should be getting in about a week) is "I'm Gybrush Threepwood, mighty pirate!"

My background was a Monkey Island one a while back. That's the best I can do.

The war rages on...

Maybe if he actually unblocked me, he might see that this thing could blow over. This is really ruining the forums. Yet, he continues to be obtuse. All I really need is an apology. Until then, I will not hesitate bring it up.

I think it's clear from reading the thread what happened.

I don't want to see a repeat of that in this thread (or anywhere else). Thanks.

I have a little Day of the Dead guy from Mexico in my cube at work - but I got him before I played Grim Fandango, so I'm not sure if that's really a hommage.

I also have a little statue of Squall from Final Fantasy 8 in my cubicle. Oh, and a metal Squee that came in the Exile special edition. But again, that's not a hommage. I haven't even played Exile yet.

I have a Lynch's Dune poster (quite outmoded, but fun), and I went to see the movie because I loved the game, so I guess it's some kind of hommage...

Nothing! I've seen very few numbers of posters and the like on eBay but nothing thats "official" merchandise-- which is why i was forced to look for AG connections in a god damn wine bottle!! (it was pretty good wine though-- the story on the back of the bottle mentions a MONKEY found on a remote ISLAND off the cost of new zealand. And my "men of low moral fiber (pirates)" came from a set of 4 ceramic sailors i got in salt lake city (Monsieur Meunster my girlfriend happened to buy for me the same time i got the "pirates") I really wish there was officially licensed merchandise-- it seems like a lost cause now but maybe back in the middle 90s there could have been some stuff mass produced for todays auction sites... sigh..

Tabacco-- for the record, i've never responded, i just blocked him for an obnoxious comment and he went ballistic. He continually tries to goad me, and stalks my posts, i have not done anything to feed his fire but to ignore him.

That's bullshit. You started it by insulting him about his age.

But it doesn't matter. Let's end it here. Okay? Good.

I'm closing this thread. Anyone who has a problem with that, feel free to PM me. And I don't want to see any more of this, from either of you.
