Here's my to play list

1. Treasure in the Royal Tower
2. Secret of Shadow Ranch
3. Curse of Blackmoor Manor
4. The Black Mirror

The first three games are ones I haven't played yet. The Black Mirror, I suddenly just stopped playing once, and I regret doing that. It certainly was very intriguing, and when I play it again, I am going to do my best to play it all through the end.

My to play list

CSI Miami(does this count, its sitting on my shelf unopened)

Monkey Island 4 (I got half way about a year ago but I've since
upgraded my hard drive losing my old game and I have to start again)

Still Life (I plan to buy this with my Birthday money)

Grim Fandango (if I could only find it without having to ebay/amazon buy it, if it comes down to that I will though)

and the Gabriel Knight Series, if I can find it but that I know will be like searching for a needle in a haystack.

The Gabriel Knight series isn't hard to find at all. The compilation of GK1-2 is still floating around and GK3 is still available almost anywhere.

Surprised to see that so many "waiting to play" games from respondents are also on the "worst ever games" on another thread.

Wonder if this means "I know I'm going to hate the game, but I deserve the punishment". As perverse as that might be.

Wow.

I need to finish a few games, and replay a few others, but my "to play" list is pretty much empty.

It just means tastes differ greatly.

I need to finish No One Lives Forever, Broken Sword 2 and Oni (which I probably won't cause it became too hard for me).

Bear in mind that I only started gaming in 2000. I have a lot of catching up to do!
One thing that does happen, is that I rarely play a game as soon as it is released. The upside is that I'm not in a rush to get the game, so the price is often lower when I finally purchase it. The downside is that I miss out on all the threads as people play and discuss the game.

You guys are cheaters! You should only list games that you actually own. I mean, there are a billion games out there on my "to play" list, but i'll probably never get to half of them.

OK, here's my list again, with some more titles recently added (so many games, so little time! Waah.) Some of these I've played a little bit but I uninstalled them later, or had technical problems...

Broken Sword 3
The Black Mirror
The Egyptian Prophecy
Journey to the Center of the Earth
Wanted: A Wild Western Adventure (a.k.a. The Westerner)

Action-adventure:
Auryn Quest

I do have all the games I listed. I have loaned some of them out, which is why I said "immediate access to".

Colpet, I don't know how you've prioritized your list, but based on my limited knowledge of you and your preferences I absolutely have to recommend that you play Last Express immediately. I think someone who appreciates adventures of the sort that you do would derive a lot of pleasure from TLE. I really wish I could go back and play it again for the first time. Don't let it sit unplayed another day!

About half of those games (Last Express included) will be played in tandem with my gaming partner. We tend to do 2 oldies, then play a newer release. We are due for an oldie next game; I'll nominate Last Express based on your recommendation.
