I'm looking forward to the KQ games - I seem to remember playing a couple of them way back in the Amiga days but I can't remember anything at all about them - maybe replaying them will jog m memory?

If you haven't done it already, I suggest playing the Tierra/AGDS versions of KQ 1 and 2. The 2 is especially stunning, seeing how it's free and home-made.

Just browsing through the topic, I noticed someone mention the Kilrathi Saga. Well, I remember the day this came out, my dad left the house without any warning, and when he returned two hours later, he had a copy of this. I used to keep it in the shed out back with the rest of my old boxes of games, but when I looked it up on the internet one day and heard how rare it was, I immediately put it back in the safety of my room.

It has a small dent on the front cover, but still has everything in it, including the Kilrahti Calendar.

Excellent games, those Wing Commanders.

Anyway, back on topic, RARE ADVENTURE GAMES!

Hmm... Would Rex Nebular & the Gender Bender count as a rare title?

For a site that has a lot of "rare" collectors' games, check out the following hyper-Link.

I've only seen one Rent a Hero (english) copy in my life, but I don't know if this qualifies as 'rare'.

Hi,

Some of these games mentioned in posts before I have in my collection. I have the Roberta Williams Anthology with box and book, and I have also got The dame was loaded (but I doubt that game is worth much). I have read in the archive people sold the RWA for about 200 U$, is it really worth THAT much ?

No. On ebay you'll get about $100 for it if it's in excellent condition, complete with box and large manual.

Did Igor: Objective Uikokahonia had an English version? And was it ever sold in stores? I thought it was a shareware or something you can buy only on-line from the developer (like Passage: Path to Betrayal).

There is an english version ,yes, and I doubt very much that it was ever sold in stores.

How come Orion Burger is so rare? I have a mint-condition copy in my closet. What would I get for it?

I'd say at least $100 on ebay. Probably more. Don't take my word for it though, I may be wrong. (Watched one go on Australian ebay for only 70 American dollars, but the seller didn't have PayPal.) It used to be MUCH more but ebay and the collector's scene have changed.

None, I think. I don't know about The Blob Job, Latex 2, Secret of the Pyramids, Who's Fat Lou and Plague, but the rest is 1st-person, FMV, edutainment, for kids, in Russian without subtitles, or not even a real game.
