Heh, I thought that was hilarious. And, at the time, it looked like something that wasn't even required (though I found out later that wasn't true), so it pissed the player off, at the end. Good stuff.

The Neverhood Chronicles ripped from the walls into HTML form.

I thought Duckman: the adventures of a private dick was pretty hilarious. I even watched some TV episodes (I never saw it before) after finishing the game.

Bud Tucker was fun too.

It'll probably take twice as long to read that thing than to complete the actual game.

I don't think anyone has mentioned The Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes yet, so I do that now. Be sure to play both The Case of the serrated scalpel and The Rose Tattoo.

The Larry Vales games are excellent. They're not full games, but they're just as good.

I don't consider most of these less-known adventure less-known at all...
Neverhood? Unknown??
Well here are some VERY unknown adventures...
The Fish Files: The best adventure on the Game Boy Color, reminds me of The Day Of The Tentacle...
Genesys: A adventure/edutainment hybrid, kinda like an interactive documentary...
Hamtaro: You may know Hamtaro, you may know the game, but did you know its an adventure?
BTW: Neverhood had two sequels, Skullmonkey a plataform game and....
AN AIR HOCKEY GAME!!!

Heard of Fish Files.
Boombots wasn't considered a sequel, in the same was Skullmonkeys was. I haven't played either, though, so this is second-hand info.

I would definitely consider Neverhood as a less-known adventure, as the title of this thread says. Eat least for newbies to the genre.
And I wouldn't really consider those games sequels to the Neverhood as they doesn't continue the story or feature any of the games characters.

Skullmonkey happend right after Neverhood, the bad guy (Krull? cant remember) escapes to the monkey planet and becomes the king, and Klaymen goes to stop him...
As for the air hockey game it has all the Neverhood characters, but since I don't know the plot I can't say it has anything to do with Neverhood...

Have you played the case of the serrated scalpel too? Because they very much belong together (even if they have some things too much in common, including some puzzles).

Sorry, my bad. Don't know why I didn't know that.
But I take it they are not really worth looking into?
