In Memoriam: Another email, many months on
Just wondering whether anyone else had received another email from the Phoenix recently, as I did. I'm not sure whether it's hinting at a sequel.
More details of the mail: Spoiler: Interesting stuff, anyway.

My French isn't terrifically good ::haha::...but the e-mail says something like: Hello my pet A new work I have prepared. Go soon to hear about me...but wait, I have a clip on my site, especially for you... See you soon my pet, Pheonix And then the stuff at the end of the flash movie says something like: Hello my pet, It is nice of you to visit me. You know, I am certain that my little clip has you pleased. Some extracts of my new Work... {You will see she caused quite a scene} See you soon, my pet |

Argh, how I hate french, although I understand it
Anyway it's clearly hinting at the In Memoriam sequel (which has been announced, I think), the clip took forever to load and it wasn't even worth the wait, since it doesn't show anything exciting. Oh well, sure it's better a mail from The Phoenix than another Penis Enlargement thing

Cheers, Choogeullae. I did try running it through babelfish, but its translation wasn't that great. Yours makes a lot more sense.

ACK!

Strange, the last email I got from them was for some sort of reunion of In Memoriam fans....
Shouldn't all the people who played the game get the same mails?

Download times aside (got a nice fast connection here... , I thought that was pretty good. Looks like they're going for a very similar style to the first. Not really sure what else they could put in a teaser trailer... With a game like this I reckon they'll have gained a lot of experience from producing the first one, so hopefully this one should suffer less from the annoying puzzles and Spoiler: Bring it on, I say. Hopefully they'll go for a worldwide simultaneous release though... I really don't want to have to be accidentally trawling through walkthrough sites again... |

I havent received it, maybe I didnt notice and deleted it, but its cool they keep sending these mails.
Hope the sequel has more innovations and not just a new set of puzzles. It would be fun if the player would actually have to write emails, or maybe use other computer features like the printer or maybe a microphone... although I cant see how |

I've now received it. I'm looking forward to this one, so long as they don't make a game that's EXACTLY the same as the previous one. Some of the minigames in In Memoriam were damn cruel, and I'm not sure that I could subject myself to some of them again.
Having said that, if they do something similar, but expand the concept a bit, then it could work very, very well. |

I received a french magazine yesterday, and there was an article about In Memoriam. I haven't have time to read it yet, but I think I catched the word add-on...

I must say, I absolutely loved In memoriam... but I've got worries -- but more on those later. I'll translate it up first:
Spoiler: This isn't perfect, but it's the jist of it. As to worries... well, I loved In Memoriam, and craved more when it ended, but will it be the same if it's just a clone? Another bunch of puzzles, following another cryptic pattern, unlocking more movie clips about another murderous rampage across Europe? Spoiler: Although I'm pretty confident the developers will be able the shake things up a bit, maybe a Spoiler: I'm still excited about it all... hopefully they can clean up the end while they're at it.... |
