On topic, I bought Discworld Noir and quite happy with it, don't even wanna know about horrible cd-rip versions. At least if you gotta pirate a game, do it correctly and make a ISO

The Underd*gs had Noir a while ago, for some weird reason. Don't know about the current situation.

They've got Sanitarium and both System Shocks (among others) and that definitely isn't right, so I don't think Noir will be.

If you've seen my post on freeware, you already know how I stand on this. If they wont sell it, and people want it, then people will take it. If they sell it, then by all means buy it, but if they don't....well what else can you do?
Guess we'll all just have to agree to disagree on this one. |

I have the game here, but I'm considering selling it because it doesn't work on Windows XP. Yes, it's original, sheesh

It works fine on my XP, I actually played and finished it here. As long as you don't save or load your game from the main menu, it's fine.

1) Running the installer (and subsequently playing the game) while logged in as Administrator (or a user with admin rights). 2) Setting the installer to Windows 98 compatibility mode, then running it. Sorry I can't remember precisely what fixed it, but it was one of them, anyway! |

I think it was the second method... but that's just a guess
