Adventure characters that you love!
That's it!You can tell us about your favorite characters in adventure games and why you love them so much. You can also post pics of them in various poses or however you like them but remember: No serious spoilers! :P
I love Jack Keane and Amanda from Jack Keane.I loved them during the game and by the end of it I adored them. I also absolutely adore Nina Kalenkov from Secret Files although I can't say the same about her friend Max Gruber. Guybrush Threepwood of course is definetely a yes too. Oh and this guy too.Jack Raines from Lego's Pharao's Tomb :D http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...ake_raines.png |
One of my favorites is definitely Von Glower for his unfailing ability to make straight men not so straight. I actually had dreams about him at one time

Well, you heart must be made of stone if you dislike this character

Rincewind was perfect. Shrewd, sarcastic and a complete coward. Everything I like in a bastard!

Lol..Maybe I'm too old school...but will always enjoy the characters: Roger Wilco and Larry Laffer (the original...not cousins or whatever the console games were based on)...
Roger Wilco... no matter how much he screwed up, he still manage to get things done. And for Larry Laffer, as a young pure virgin boy...Larry Laffer and the "Leisure Suit Larry" games were the safest way to score! Lol...Kidding! I would say Sunny of "Police Quest" in a distant third. |

And for Larry Laffer, as a young pure virgin boy...[/QUOTE] he is not virgin since the 1st part though he had such bad luck later on ,but, he was married twice at least :D |

I have a soft spot for Guybrush Threepwood - just without the god awful Dominic Armato voiceover. *shudder*

The last adventure character that really made a lasting impression on me is Donna from Avenger of Blood. She's an existential Killer vampire that doesn't take crap from anyone. Not really spoilers, the first pic is the intro.

I kinda like this guy. He's dull and terribly old fashioned, but he is somehow endearing. His intense interest in ghosts seems to make you interested in them too, almost spookily so.
http://www.darklingroom.co.uk/thelos...ebuilding9.jpg Penelope from Hugo's House of Horrors is my ideal woman  :9~ :9 http://image.dosgamesarchive.com/scr...ts/hugo3-1.gif |
I adore Oscar in Syberia.
http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/314/oscarqp.jpg Coming back to him at the end of a town visit was always one of the most amusing aspects of the games, and I cry my eyes out every-time I play Syberia 2. I still can not understand how people don't like him! Also very fond of April Ryan in The Longest Journey (she goes a bit too dark and all-business in Dreamfall), and then of course there is this guy: http://img831.imageshack.us/img831/9...guardiansr.png :D |

George Stobbart will always be my favourite adventure character. "My lucky piece of coal!" Still makes me laugh. Dr Edison from DOTT is an honourable mention. |
|
Can I say Cole Phelps from L.A.Noire too?I love that game and I find him to be a great character to play with.
