If you like the mystery/conspiracy feel Broken Sword has, the Chronicles of Mystery and Secret Files games are good. Both series have nice graphics too.

If you're gonna play both I'd start with teh Secret Files series. Chronicles of mystery is nice enough (at least the second one is) but nothing special. Secret Files on the other hand is really great. Almost as good as Broken Sword imo.

not hand drawn or funny but worth it is the syberia series, i would like to suggest simon the sorcerer 1 and 2 and they are not heavy on the spec tho not sure if will work on 7, they did on xp.

I love Broken Sword, the 1st is perhaps my fav game of all time (definitely my fav adventure game though), however, I didn't like the Secret Files games unfortunately. I wish I had more suggestions - then I'd have more games to play too! lol

Simon The Sorcerer 1 and 2 are supported by SCUMM fortunately.
