A New Beginning is a reasonably fun Sci Fi adventure. Just don't expect it to be more than that.

They re kind of oldies though (mid 90) but i have fond memories of both.
I really enjoyed these too, should check them out again to see if it's just nostalgia.

If you're fan of Arthur Clarke works, there's Rama. If you're fan of Star Trek AND interactive movies there's ST: Borg and Klingon. Also, Normality is an interesting take on "Orwellian" future.

What's so horrible about DarkStar? If one is a fan of hidden-object-games, then I can understand perfectly why one would like it.
If I didn't hate HOGs as much, I'd love to play DarkStar. Heck, I've watched at least an hour of a YouTube playthrough simply out of interest...

hmm... nobody mentioned Kaptain Brawe: A Brawe New World. It can be considered as sci-fi too.

Guys Can you help me to make a list for the the great sci-fi Worthy Adventures that are out there.

here is a start:

Blade Runner
Moment Of Silence
Perry Rhodan
Gemini Rue
Alternativa
Space Quest's
A New Begining

P.S: i really tried not to mix Sci-Fi with Fantasy ...but could that be possible ?! all games i remember are almost a mixed between both, as for example you cant say that TLJ is a pure Sci-Fi Adventures.

I've been into some older games like BloodNet, Rise of the Dragon, Dreamweb, and B.A.T. - check them out via DOSBox.

Don't mind me, just being in shock over the fact that this thread has reached two pages without anybody mentioning Gateway and Gateway 2.

Best two I've played are Mission Critical and Star Trek: 25th Anniversary.

They're a bit older than you were asking for, but only by a few years. And their gameplay more than makes up for that.
