the Cross Formula (Adventure-lite)

Surprise surprise. Another casual game to talk about. Actually to my surprise this game is turning out quite well. Intriguing premise for an adventure game (retracing your footsteps), beautiful graphics, and good presentation.

So far it has a sort of X-files-ish feeling with a dash of Twin Peaks for soundtrack work. In terms of visuals, it definitely resembles the greatness of the Daedalic developers.

This could of been a great game (haven't beaten it yet) if they pushed for voice acting, included animated cutscenes on the level of Daedalic games and had more use for the vehicle you drive (you only get to interact with the interior the first time you enter, after that its all on rails.

This game brings the excitement and beauty of well presented Casual Adventures while providing an intriguing storytelling mechanic and flow.

Definitely check it out. :) Anyone else play it yet?

As casual games go, the storyline and presentation is certainly very good. The ending is pretty abrupt though. Overall a solid game.

Yeah, the ending definitely was....not how I wanted it to end. Definitely a really good journey.
