How many games of the Top 100's, Played?
 

Yeah it is terribly a mess, but i was wonder how many games really can any adventurer had finished of those 100 !

I had found that i only played 47 games out of that hundred when i thought at least i am will be like 80-70% . lol
so many games to play and check but i also there are some games they will really hard to play, esp. if it is more than 18 years ,, fuuu! . i dont want to play with keyboard for example and write the hero what to do :) .
anyways, what number could it be the highest here?, and please no need cheating! :)

I've played 63 games. I thought that number would be much higher because I've played hundred of adventures, but there are lots of Nintendo titles in the top hundred and I've played only one of those. Plus the ones I'll never play, like Silent Hill (action), Drawn (casual), Simon 2 (I hated the first one), Startrek (huuu!), Amnesia (too scary), Portal 1 + 2 (tried the first one, I'm too stupid for this kind of game), Nancy Drew (one was enough). Plus the ones I'd like to finish: Faust (technical problem), Titanic. Plus the ones still on my list to play, like Pepper, Shadow of the Comet.

I finished 54 games from the list.

Many of the rest I played for a good while, but then gave up on for one reason or another. Concerning a few classic titles I didn't even properly try yet (e.g. PQII, SQIV, most of the Infocom ones), I regularly feel ashamed I still haven't.

But then there's also a good number of games on the list that never interested me.

i agree Fien with the games you cant or will not play ,i wish also that i can play Heavy rain But i dont have PS .. anyway 63 is a huge number.

An excellent topic and if I might break it down to 3 individual categories it might give a good idea of what one thought about the whole top 100 list.

That equals 100 for me. One could assume that I only agree with 35% of AG's Top 100 list which is about right.

You could add one more catagory...Games Not Played but Want to.

That would be 70 for me. And there are a few on the list that I really want to play some day.

I've played and finished 38, and played and not completed about 10. I have another 7 with me which I havent started yet :/

I've played/finished 36 off the list. I've missed a few of the 'classics' over the years. Then there's 17 I own and haven't played/finished. There's a few more on the list I'd like to try. That's not bad for me really. I've played 6 out of the top 10, 4 out of the top 5.

61% and that figure won't change much in the future. Some games just don't interest me. Still 61 is a good figure.

57. I've played more than that but didn't include those I haven't finished voluntarily or gave up on. I'm ashamed to say that includes KQ6, PQ2, Simon the Sorcerer, Maniac Mansion and others.

I played only 26 of them. I tend to take a long time playing an adventure game. And I played quite a few games that aren't on the list.

Played and finished - 55. And about 10 unfinished for different reasons.

46. They're mostly at the top and bottom end of the list. I'd say about 90% of them were from the 90s so I definitely need to update my adventure awareness. :P

I've done about 40 or so.
Most of them I finished, in some cases not due to various reasons.

If I had more time, I'd like to replay the TOP4, all of which are classics and well worth revisiting. However, they're also not the shortest of games imaginable ;-)

In case anyone is feeling bad about their tally ... I have only finished twenty-five of the games on the list!

In fact, although I started playing adventure games around 1988 (Maniac Mansion was the first one I finished) I've completed only forty-two in total. This is largely because I took a decade-long break from gaming in general and only rediscovered its joys a couple of years ago. I've got a lot of catching up to do.

I may have played a bit more than 44 games but I started a bit earlier. The Pawn was one of the first games I played, way back in the mid-1980s. In the olden days without internet it took me months to finish a game, and many games I never finished because I just couldn't find out how to solve a puzzle. That became better with the point-and-click games, but I still play only a few games per year. It's no fun to rush through them.
