Louisiana Adventure

Here's an upcoming adventure game by Infinion and SilverPlay. It looks like it's a third-person murder mystery with a 3D navigation system.

Screenshots are here: http://www.silverplay.biz/gallery.htm

Unfortunately it doesn't have a publisher yet. What do you think? I think it looks amazing. It gives me a real Gabriel Knight crossed with Sherlock Holmes feel to it.

Looked pretty decent way back in 2009. looks like thesis new developer bought out the game and they are still looking for a publisher.

Maybe they should just look to self publish on steam.

Game looks good, but would like to see a demo or video of the game running.

Have you played Dead Mountaineer's Hotel? Anyway, I only said what it looks like. I think I said the same thing about Gabriel Knight 3 and that turned out to be a great game. But even if it didn't, I would have been correct that it looked great.

I actually recommended doing that to them, but they said to recoup the cost of making the game, they really need a retail version as well.

I am really hoping for this game.

Suggests an RPG-like system where you can use persuasion checks (Vampire Bloodlines was the best for that, had persuasion, seduction, intimidation options!), does that mean there is a leveling up/perks system in it?

I remember how I was intrigued by the very first screenshots of this game published here on AG.com. But now when I see them, my enthusiasm drops significantly. It reeks to me on forgetable game titles like Alter Ego. I might also add Dead's Mountaineer's Hotel to this category, though I've never played it. The official review was enough for me.

Good point Stuart. The system is similar to the western RPG systems with the DND mechanics for conversations. Unless its mainly just a 'choice' indicator that influences the story based on your emotions.

Looks cool. Makes me wanna play The Awakened again but I doubt it'll be nearly as good. One can hope though. Maybe it'll be a surprise hit. :P

This game looks interesting,I really hope it's coming to the xbox 360 as I love adventure games and am tired of the usual games they have on that platform.

Looks very nice... hopefully it gets published

Looks nice, but one shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Or a dog by its fur. Or a movie by its poster? Well, you get what I'm saying. :P
