Well, I'm looking forward to Haunted although it may come out this year and I'm surprised no-one has mentioned Stasis - assuming it is finished for next year that is.

And what is Stasis?

I'm a bit surprised by that question as there is a fairly long thread about the game here: http://www.adventuregamers.com/forum...ad.php?t=28164 |

Oscar - Gray Pierce is correct. I did reply to your post but, for some reason, it went off to be approved by an a moderator. If you look under release dates for this year, click on Haunted it will take you to a 2009 review. Yep, I've been waiting that long :z

These are the games I'm stoked for their releases. I'm not sure if they will all be released next year or not or whether I will buy them right away. but here goes.
Telltale Games: The Walking Dead Fables Daedalic: Deponia Amanita Design: Botanicula Samorost 3 Sky Goblin: The Journey Down Phoenix Online: Cognition Not sure: Stasis J.U.L.I.A. The Witness Night of the Meteor Nothing announced yet but I would love: Anything from Wadjet Eye Anything from Freebird Games Lastly, Only In My Dreams would this be released Dreamfall: Chapters |
I'm only looking forward to Secret Files 3, can't be too soon for me.
As for Ascovel and his mention of Gabriel Knight 4 being made by Telltale Games, that would be okay by me. Do you think they could also do Syberia 3 maybe? Any other wishful thinkers out there? |

As for new Sherlock Holmes, i really respect what Frogwares is doing all those years, but it's like - they fix one thing in next installment, and ruin the other. Personally, i found "vs Ripper" not as good as Awakened or Nemesis, and i still think Silver Earring is most well-rounded of the bunch. Also, implementing console-like interface doesn't really put on a hope, but again we'll just have to wait to see how it turns out. |

Completed it without any more help, LOVED IT. Really felt like it helped get on a role with proper puzzle solving without much of the frustration of past games. And the story and atmosphere was brilliant, I was glued to the end. Well I say glued, but I did get a new job and move to the other end of the country in the middle of playing it so that might have slowed it down a bit. Right now just writing and playing music, not much time for gaming. but I will come back to it soon, (looking at book of unwritten tales) |
Pretty much anything by Daedelic. Their games are worth it for their art alone!
I was really looking forward to The Walking Dead, but after reading the lacklustre reviews of Jurassic Park, Im starting to waver a little! I really wish TellTale, who are obviously massively talented, would invest in an original IP. With the non-adventure games I'm really looking forward to ALIENS: Colonial Marines, and Mass Effect 3. And on the indie scene, Gratuitous Tank Battles is really high on my list aswell. ( www.cliffski.com ). And Stasis. Which I played this morning. But I really cant wait for it to be released! :D |
Oh man... Deponia. I want that game so bad. I dont think I've been as excited about a game in a looong time!
Also The Journey Down HD is gonna be amazing! |
I am only awaiting "Harvey's New Eyes" to come out in English. I hear (from a German who contacted Daedalic) it is due in the first quarter of 2012. ^.^
Deponia looks pretty interesting... |
Games Im anticipating and in the order of the ones I want to play the most :)
The Cat Lady The Last Crown Asylum Broken Tor Secret Files 3 Lucius Silent Hill: Downpour AMY |
The Last Crown is the only one I´m really looking forward to.
The Cat Lady might be interesting though |
