Hello! Right now some of my more recent favorite adventure games are Lost Horizon, Secret Files 1 and 2, The Book of Unwritten Tales, and Gemini Rue.
Older classics like Gabriel Knight and Tex Murphy can also be found on GoG.com if you have missed any of those |

Welcome to our Forum, Jules There's indeed lengthy list of point & click games available. in the front page there's link "Games A-Z", that will sure help you, and also you're going to find a lot of reviews here, not forgeting the Adventure Shop. Have fun with us

If you're looking for some lesser known adventure titles Hardcoregaming101 has some excellent write ups-- with tons of pics to boot.
http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/genres.htm#adventure check it.

I just finished Secret Files 2 - I loved it. The wit and humour made the game. Played like a dream and had great graphics too.
Both Secret Files have the same problem - the plot has been done before - many times in fact. Very Broken Swordish. SF 3 is supposed to fix this. I say - buy this game -- it will keep you on the edge of your seat until SF3 comes out.

If you like ghost games, you should check out The Lost Crown. For me probably the scariest game I ever played...
There is also Haunted which has a lot of ghosts in it but it is a comedy game and I'm not sure if it's even out in English yet. And if you like hidden object games, check out the Mystery Case Files games on BigFish (which I think also have ghosts in them if I remember right). Edit: Oh yeah if you like Myst-style first person clicky games, Scratches and Darkfall are really good scary ones, both of which can be found on GoG and Steam. |

Oh yeah good point about Asylum. That does look pretty scary. I was looking at some gameplay footage of that a couple weeks ago. Should be pretty sweet hopefully!
