Is Darkstar on your Radar?
http://www.mst3kinfo.com/darkstar/index.html
I could well see why it isn't, since the project was started in 2002, and there hasn't been much hype beyond what was initially released. Anyway, Darkstar apparently is an adventure game created by a number of the talents behind MST3k. Despite the fact that the storyline seems like something that might make the show, its intended to be serious, and with good writing, I suppose it might be good. Recently, I had reason to check on the Mst3k info website, and I checked the section of the website devoted to what the Brains are currently up too, and noticed this in Joel Hodgson's blub... Quote:
Brian Henry, of the Mst3k website, pretty much confirmed this in this response: Quote:
I enjoy that kind of thing, although for the life of me, I can't say as to why... Sky Warrior Bob

Yet another FMV space adventure, hey I'm not saying it's a bad thing
As long as they manage to cancel these out-of-place looking characters |

Does this game have any relation to John Carpenter's movie with the same title?

No, it actually refers to Many Silly Trumpets, 3 Kinds.

Especially Joel's character, who doesn't look very fetching with his long thin mustache. I half expect him to don black and tie the first available female lead to some railroad tracks. But no matter... I am still hopefull for this show, and I'm looking forward too it with great enthusiam. Really, I'm not kidding this time. Heck, I'm sure I'll enjoy at least as much as I enjoyed Syberia II. Sky Warrior Bob

Hmmm that is interesting news - I had this one noted a ways back, but then it was no action for so long - I figured it was killed.
Maybe not |

It's on my radar now! I love cheesy sci-fi films, so this game looks like it's right up my alley.

Holy thread (and game) resurrection, Batman. Judging by the recent news on that site, they seem on track.
