What Happened to the Charles Cecil & Dave Gibbons Adventure Game?

In 2009 it was reported that Charles Cecil and Dave Gibbons - the Watchmen creator - were going to collaborate again on a new adventure game.

Quote:

Broken Sword creator Charles Cecil has revealed the first hints of what we can expect from his next game.

Cecil was speaking during a Q&A session at the Eurogamer Expo in Leeds, where he was asked what he's currently working on. "It's such a wet thing to say, but I'm not allowed to talk about it," he replied.

"All I can say is, I am working with Dave Gibbons and we're working on a new adventure game. We have a number of ideas for premises and we honestly haven't decided which road we're going to go down. But I love writing and playing adventure games and that is what I'm going to stick to."

Now am I being completely stupid or did nothing ever actually come of this?

Oh wow, first I've heard of that, hopefully this is it.

now that i think about it i'm not entirely sure this involved Dave Gibbons.the article was just an interview of Charles Cecil and it did mention a new game.but i imagine those two might work together again since they are working together on the remastered versions of BS1 and BS2.
