I don't want a remake!
I love MI3 graphics and style!
I would play it again and again and again, but no remake on the third !
MI 4 would need a remake or Simon 3d ! ASAP!

yeah remaking the fourth one, that I'd vote for. get rid of the awful monkey combat, rewrite the bits of plot that blatantly contradict the previous games and... well if it wasn't for Tales (which I haven't yet played) I'd say just pretend the fourth never happened at all

Doesn't MI3 contradict the previous games anyway? In particular, the end of Le Chuck's Revenge?

MI4 was fine except for a poorly implemented and repetitive monkey combat and badly thought out ending.

HA... Not to mention the terrible 3D art Which totally lacked any
detail or charm compared to the original Hand drawn/painted backgrounds
which we all grew to love. Also the navigation was just down right painful....
no in my mind Monkey 4 never existed.....
(as either did Indiana Jones 4, the film....but thats another story).

it didn't so much contradict the ending as brush over it by saying Guybrush escaped by never explaining how. then bizarely we ended up in the same place later having to escape again... while bad it was largely down to nobody working on the third game knowing how the cliffhanger had been planned to be resolved

MI4 however had Herman declared as a Marley despite that contradicting his entire backstory of the first game, had the original games crew mad about being left on the Island despite the second game establishing that it had been Herman who was left behind and I think there were others but it's a long time since I played it and it's the only MI game I've never played twice (except Tales as previously mentioned as I keep putting that off, largely based on how bad the fourth game was)
