Default A collection of classic adventure game ads

Some time ago I've started working on an article (for Polish website - Przygodoskop/Adventurescope) about adventure game ads. Currently the second part is available on-line, so I think this is a good moment to share it with the English speaking part of the world. Yeah, I know. It's in Polish. But fortunately you don't need to understand the language to click through the ads. So, if you're interested in this kind of material, I hope you'll enjoy it anyway.

Link to part one:

Link to part two:

Part three should be available in the next couple of weeks... or months.

Some interesting old ads you've got there.

For those whose Polish isn't so good, below are links to the articles with Google Translate to English.

Part One via Google Translate

Part Two via Google Translate

I LOVE old video game ads. I used to do a weekly column for a Sega fan site about ridiculous game ads from the 90's called Radvertisements.

These are all great.

Very nice ads! I would love to have the Dark Eye and the Bad Mojo ones on my wall.
I do have the Neverhood ad, on one page. And the "dark light lamp" from Obsidian, as a postcard.

Here's my Neverhood postcard.

Thanks for your comments.

And about this Neverhood ad. I think now I remember where I've seen it, a long time ago, for the first time. It must have been this topic:

That's product placement.

A bit of necromancy in light of two more parts showing up:

Part 3:

Part 4 (probably final):

Yikes, I remember a few of these print ads from my high school years well before this place existed. I sure miss seeing these quirky print ads, but the Internet has pretty much replaced the gaming magazine.
