Capcom is developing a good old point and click adventure game for the 3DS:

Which is a Mystery adventure game similar to the classic adventure game "D" - I have this on my 3DO and loved it.

I bought my 3DS for the 3D. However, when the 3DS was released in Japan - Prof Layton was Most Popular Game on the 3DS:

In the US we don't have any games like Layton to buy yet. Quite a few however are planned for it including this one:

Personally, I like the 3DS, the 3D is fun, lots of horsepower - but I'm keeping my Dsi XL for playing adventure games for now - like "The Tree of Life" which brand new sold for $14.99.

However, lots of sales of Prof Layton games on the 3DS in Japan means that some of these excellent titles will come over here - like 999 did on the DS.

Anyone out there planning on getting a 3DS and solving a few puzzles besides me?

The DS is absolutely great with many incredible adventuregames so I will definitely get a 3DS after a couple of games that I must played have been released (most likely when Phoenix Wright vs. Professor Layton has hit the stores).

I really want a 3ds but I do love my DS lite. I will probably look into getting one, like Henke - once Phoenix vs Layton is out, cos that's the game I really want.
