Default Superquiz: Symbolmania!

(Thanks kate me, for your skull quiz! )

So, you thought the tree quizzes were easy, eh?

Here is a dizzying array of symbols, characters, letters, numerals, logos, glyphs, runes and patterns. Some of them you will recognize immediately, others you might recall seeing somewhere before, while still others will be, appropriately enough, "foreign" and "alien" to you! (Although some of the symbols in this quiz come from lesser-known games, none of the games should be considered obscure, and all of the symbols can be encountered during regular gameplay.)

Superquiz rules:
1) If you wish to post in this thread directly, please guess only a maximum of five (5) symbols per 6-hour period, in spoiler tags please. You are still free to mention any other symbols you recognize (i.e. by number only). By "symbol", I obviously mean each of the 136 pictures, even though a pic may contain a series of individual symbols, letters, characters, etc.
2) You may also PM me with your entire list of guesses, especially if you recognize more than fifty (50!) symbols.
Any symbols not guessed within the thread by Sunday, March 27 (if the quiz lasts that long) are up for grabs by anyone.

And now, on to the superquiz!

So many familiar symbols and so few names...

15.
Spoiler:
Machinarium

44.
Spoiler:

96.

97.
Spoiler:

I also recognize 13, 14, 29, 33, 45, 64, 86, 94, 109, 117. And about 30 symbols look very familiar. I know I should be able to put a name to at least ten or twelve other symbols but I'm not.

I have to lie down now...

At least you played it a little, I don't even have "The vampire diaries" and I still recognized your screenshot Anyhow, the game is definitively puzzle-driven, so people expecting an interesting story or endearing characters are bound to be disappointed, the puzzles instead are very well devised, logical and satisfying to solve (excluding the tower of Hanoi at the end which is simply routine once you know the algorithm), I had to look at the walkthrough just once (by the way nobody doubts that you kick ass )

Some people are very good at it and you are a pro, no doubt about it. I remember you won all those competitions at JA.

Having said that, I intentionally left a lot of the background in the Vampire Diaries pic, to make it easier.

Afraid I didn't care for the other games by the same company either. Too difficult for me, I guess.

Right series, wrong game.

All other guesses are correct thus far! I hope you all haven't hurt yourselves too badly wracking your brains, taxing your adventure game recall skills.

After having gauged the initial response, I've decided to modify the rules. From this point on, you may make five (5) guesses per 6-hour period. Lots of symbols left to guess!

@SuperEdy: Yeah, I like that game too. In fact, I wound up replaying the entire game when making the screenshots of the symbols for this quiz! The ending still baffles me, though.
