I'll guess 125 is
Spoiler:
Drowned God: Conspiracy of the Ages,
because I saw a similar symbol there.

I'm glad you could finally join us for the finale, diego!

Down to the final four, only 8,27,62 and 124 left. Coincidentally, they're from Alida, Barrow Hill, The Crystal Key and Dreamfall, so it should be easy as ABCD!

zobraks guessed a whopping 29 pics correctly, followed by Fien and SuperEdy, each with 20 pics correctly guessed, and Gonchi with 16. Well done! I hope everyone enjoyed my doozy of a quiz and thank all those who participated.

I think I outdid myself with this one, in terms of sheer volume and range of games included, which incidentally, are ALL in my collection! . (If anyone is unsure where a symbol appears in a particular game, just ask!)

It was surprising to see which symbols people would recognize at first glance (Koala Lumpur!) and which ones were recalled after some brain-wracking and note-consulting. It was also interesting to see which games have fallen out of the adventure gaming radar (The Crystal Key) and which lesser-known titles are still in our hearts and minds (Reah, represented six times in the quiz ).

Not to worry, diego, my future quizzes will be back in the regular format, so I hope I haven't inadvertently raised the quizmaking bar too high. For the moment, I'll be taking a break from compiling pretty pictures, and try to squeeze in some actual game playing and tackle my considerable backlog of games in between my work schedule, paying bills, feeding mouths, visiting my home planet, catching up on my favourite shows on DVD, etc.

The Quiz Demon will return soon!

Fun quiz, Trunk.

I think I did respectively well, considering I've only finished about 5 or 6 of the games featured in the quiz. Curiously, I didn't get any of them.

I did a little private math and came to the shocking conclusion that if I had recognized all the symbols from all the adventures I have actually played, I would have had 67 correct.

Thank you, Trunkyo!

My result is even better considering I have played only 11 out of 78 games the symbols were taken from. There were 16 symbols from the adventures I've played and I guessed 29 in total (I recognised a few more but were beaten to the punch by Fien, SE, Gonchi and the gang). I didn't recognise the symbols from Sanitarium though .

I would've made even a better score if Fien wasn't so vigilant!

I want to thank you once again for the terrifying yet enjoyable entertainment you treated us with (I didn't have so much torture fun since the last year Mystery Manor Fall Tournament). It will be very hard for any quizmaster to surpass your effort in the future.

Speaking of the future: I've got a new quiz made & ready but I'm not that stupid to post it after this Godzilla of a quiz .

I recognised almost all the symbols from the games I had played, the only problem (in some cases) was to place them.

I still don't remember that Syberian newspaper, and I'm still dead sure I saw & drew that symbol #12 (although I didn't play Salammbo).

Thanks Trunkyo, it was a huge quiz with many familiar symbols.
There were many of my beloved puzzle-driven adventure games, too bad I destroy my notes when I finish an adventure (sorry zobraks )

Well, considering this quiz was originally designed to be tournament style (~35 symbols over 4 weeks, and remember me mentioning the prizes? ), I would have loved to find out what the most avid guessers' accumulated totals would have been! (Wow Fien, 67? Really? )

Just trying out a new avvie for now (same bad-ass character, guest artist)... The smiling face is quite atypical for him, as he is almost never that happy!

That was great, thanks Trunkyo!

I didn't have much of a chance in this quiz, I usually play more inventory based adventures. Most of the ones I recognized were thanks to Let's Plays.

Thanks for your work, Trunkyo. Love these quizzes.

I think some good future quiz topics would be inventory items, cursors, or subtitle/narration text.

Hmmm.... developers don't put their heart and soul into cursors. Symbols are never alike, cursors can be. So many cursors are variations of each other. Like the "hand" cursor... ordinary hands, bony hands, bloody hands...

I'm not saying it can't be done but it would be hard work to produce a quiz and in many cases you wouldn't be sure that your cursor wasn't used in other games as well.

Yea I'm not talking 150 different cursors, but maybe 25-30?

Either way I love these quizzes even though I haven't played nearly as many games as most others on here.

Whatever is next will be fun and greatly appreciated. Trunkyo and others who make these quizzes do a great job.

I've seen cursors used in a quiz before (during Bastich's tournament a few years ago). It was definitely an interesting and very challenging quiz.

Here's the Bastich trivia for those who didn't play it at the time:

Actually Bastich managed to find a set of distinctive cursors but it's not an easy quiz nevertheless, try it for yourself
