I was wondering when someone would finally recognize the Cyrillic letters in #10. Good eye, zobraks! (It's actually from the newspaper found at the Bourgoff brothers' hideout, "Сибирский новости" (transliterated as Sibirskiĭ novosti => Siberian News). Would you believe I was originally going to be really cruel and use the letters "HOBO" instead? )

And, not surprisingly, absolutely nobody PMed me with their big list, unlike for my tree quizzes. (A few people do like to guess privately instead of (or as well as) publicly within the thread so I always offer that option. )

I recognized the Cyrillic letters the moment I saw your initial picture (which isn't surprising at all since Cyrillic is the official script here in Serbia, although we use (slightly modified) Latin alphabet as well), but I had no clue which game they came from. It turned out in the end that only Syberia 2 fitted the bill.

I find it hard to believe you would do such a cruel thing.
But in that case the pun would be lost: nobody would realize it reads "NOVO" (meaning "new"), we would assume that it reads "HOBO" (in Latin) and that it comes from an adventure game about some poor jobless guy who rides the trains without a ticket.

No, actually, if i learned anything from this quiz - it's that i should play more Myst-like games. I knew i was always leaning more toward the traditional 3rd person titles, but i never knew i SUCK MONKEY BALLS at recognizing symbols from games. There were only some of them i could place or match to certain games but even then i wasn't sure about it. Yes, i'm getting my symbol-notebook first thing tomorrow, but actually i never had a habbit of drawing symbols - i was more into map drawing

The other thing is that in the future it should be noted that Trunkyo killed quizes - simply, it would be impossible for next quizmaster to surpass the amount of what's been done here
