a broken sword reference in Dragon Age?
I wasn't sure which section to put this in, the game it's found in is not an adventure game but the game it appears to be referencing is... ultimately I figured this would be the best section but a moderator can feel free to move it if you disagree
in the Silverite Mines section of the Dragon Age: Awakening expansion, there's a secret door disguised as a brick wall. behind the door is a small, child sized skeleton and a chess board. one chess piece is held by a skeletal hand... sound familiar? in Broken Sword 1 Spoiler:

Um, that skeleton seems to have two heads. I don't remember anything like that from Broken Sword.
(I assume that ties in to the story of Dragon Age, and is unrelated to the potential Broken Sword reference? I've never played the former so I wouldn't know.) Anyway, pretty neat if it really is an intentional reference. |

If I recall correctly, in Broken Sword it is
Spoiler:so that could explain the two heads. I'd expect it to be just a coincidence though. Unpleasant discoveries in hidden chambers are not an entirely uncommon theme.

the two heads is odd, but when I first saw it I mistook it for two skeletons close together, when I took a closer look I noticed first that its just one skeleton and second that the chess piece in the hand reminded me an awful lot of Broken Sword
