Naturally it is limited (being only six pages long) and doesn't go into great detail, but it's a good read nonetheless. Judging by the comments section it is 'doing good' too as some people are buying games on the back of it. :)

Most kids nowadays are happy only with tons of ram & high ghz procesors to play lattest 3d games (and moastlly shooters games, rarelly adventure ones)

But yes, there are some promising tittles on the way that are slowly drawing attention to our genre.

That aticle brought back some memories...
I do miss the 90's !
When you were happy with a 640x480 screen, at 8 or 16 bit windows 95, 98, playing Monkey island, simon, dott, legend of kyrandia, etc.
And I DO played many 3d games, but it doesn't quite feel the same...

It's depressing reading about the heyday of AGs and realizing how they went from king of the hill to almost nothing. I have the utmost respect for AG developers who, despite all the trends, continue to go against the grain with such passion for adventure gaming and its fans.

I agree with the article that the commercial failure of The Last Express put a huge dent in the AG industry. It's such a shame for so many reasons, since if more people played that game (and it had been advertised/marketed more aggressively), the genre would have perhaps been able to thrive a bit longer or avoid a steep drop-off.
