Default Columbus 4

After a couple of bad news this year, finally something new on a horizon - it seems that episodic trend hit German developers as well as authors of Secret Files 2 and Lost Horizon announced new episodic adventure - Columbus 4.

Columbus 4 is a codename of 4 adventurers-explorers in a unique blend of The X-Files and Indiana Jones. The first episode is called The Curse of Oak Island and is set at the small Canadian island which is believed to hold many hidden mysteries and treasures.

Release date of the first episode is autumn this year.

I don't know german, but I used google translate.
Sounds promising. I enjoyed both Secret files & Lost horizon by them.
Waiting for screenshots!

Intriguing. I'm beginning to trust Animation Arts to come up with solid adventure games.

If they invest a bit more resources on improving character animations (which are already well above the average for current 3rd person AGs) and some other technical details, I think they have a shot at something very impressive.

Too bad english speakers always have to wait for months after the german release date!

Looks like it will be quite a busy next year for Animation Arts - beside Secret Files 3 and Columbus 4, they have announced two more titles for 2012. :

The first one is Monolith, sci-fi in wich player takes the role of a stranded pilot

And the second one is finally something for the first-person lovers, horror adventure Primal Fear
