Don't be fooled by some of the reviews. It's a great game and if you liked BS 1,2 and 3 you have got to play this one as well. (as well as SF2 and Lost Horizon)

With a tip of my hat to the good reviewers here and elsewhere, it is always best to give a game a personal checking out, either with a demo or a look at the game....you never know when the reviewer may have missed something you love or vice versa...

What game are you playing at the moment, Folkinas?

I only have Jack Keane out of that collection and I didn't like it. Just dragged along, pretty graphics though. However the Runaway series seems to get the most awful bagging on this site and it's absolutely one of my favourite games. You are obviously going to get heaps of contradictions as it just comes down to personal opinion. Why don't you just try all of them, if you love it, then you got one for the collection, if you don't, then you have something to talk about on the forums!!

Hehe, you just modified Charlie Brown's "a convertible and a lake philosophy".

I think you've got a nice selection of games with which to get started, Foinikas. My personal favorite from your list is Broken Sword 1, but they're all good games.

Around a third of my collection are adventure games, and I also have a lot of hybrids with other genres. Mostly older games, too many to write out. I've been meaning to take photos of my games, but I never get around to doing it.

Very nice selection, we have very similar tastes.. especially good old Gabriel Knight series (& Monkey island... goes without saying). "Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Farthers" had such an impact on me when I was young... awesome classic adventure. I have bought and played all the Sherlock Holmes games.. loved "The Awakened".. currently playing SH vs Jack the Ripper, quite hard! Loved and finished all the MYST games except the first (no idea why)
Oh "Lure of the Temptress" wow thats taking me back.. was that like 1991 or something. Oohh so many great games.. so many memories.
