Last Window: Mayonaka no Yakusoku - Is it being released?
Hello,
Here's something that's been bugging me for a while. Since Studio Cing went bankrupt does anyone know whether the Hotel dusk sequel Last Window: Mayonaka no Yakusoku will make an appearance in an English Translation? Failing that does anybody know of a fan translation project? In which case i will try and import that Japanese version. I desperately need to play this game as i'm sure a lot of other people do. I want Last Window too but I almost lost all faith in seeing this in English any time soon. Maybe NOA or NOE will publish that, but I don't know, it's kind of late in the DS life cycle and if it doesn't happen soon, I doubt it ever will.

It has been trademarked in Europe so there is a decent chance it comes out there, though nothing solid on it. The rumor is it'll come out sometime in the 4th quarter of 2010 in Europe. I very much doubt it will get a US release though.
If it doesn't come out sometime this year, it has enough of a following to where it will probably get a translation, however, there is so much text in the game that who knows how long such a project would take. |

It's quite good, too (though I like the Another Code subset of the series better).

Last Window was a no show at E3 which isn't a good sign
But there's always hope for Europe! Yup! Another Code: R was released on the Wii, although the English version is only available in PAL regions (i.e. Europe and Australia)

Good God I hope this comes to Europe, more than any other Japanese only game before's ever made me want it to.

very good news, thoroughly enjoyed Hotel Dusk and was worried I'd never get to play the sequel unless someone discovered the babel fish

Really good like the first one. Gets off to a somewhat slow start but picks up as it goes. Doesn't add much new gameplay-wise, though as I liked Hotel Dusk's gameplay originally that's not a problem. It does add some detail to the story in the main game that Hotel Dusk didn't have by creating a novelized version of the events of each chapter(written by Martin Summer from Hotel Dusk) that you can optionally read as an extra. To give you an idea of the detail in the novel, the first chapter of the novel is 82 pages long. Definitely worth the buy.

OMG OMG OMG. Hotel Dusk fans! We must start discussing this game!! I don't think it's out in Australia yet. I might have to buy it online.
