picked up a few bargains, though I have to say Steam has some pretty odd flaws. firstly finding the file size of the download is impossible and you have to hunt to find the estimate of the required disk space (the two almost always being different as the downloads are compressed files) and most annoyingly of all the complete lack of any way to tell it to install games into a different partition

You can do this, as long as you don't mind moving the whole of Steam on your computer with it, like this. Not necessarily the simplest way and of course it won't help if you want some games here and some games there.

yeah I found that already, but thanks. I just find it annoying that I had to move files around between partitions so that I have room on the same partition for all the games instead of the preferable option of choosing what game goes where
