Question about US boxed version of The Whispered World

So I just purchased the US boxed version of The Whispered World published by Viva Media. The game comes in a dvd case with a cardboard slipcase over it. After removing the slipcase the dvd case cover was blank and empty and had no dvd insert with artwork. I'm just curious if it's supposed to be like that or if it's some kind of mistake. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
