Sad, you let some noob (no offense Sefir) with 1 post beat you.
Just sad

Sefir 04-19-2012 09:04 PM

Noob's time it is then :)
Let's try this one...

What are you looking at Cyclops?

SpeedBo 04-20-2012 06:12 AM

Sounds like something Ceville said

Sefir 04-20-2012 09:31 AM

Nope SpeedBo!
It's older than you think!!

Sefir 04-22-2012 09:01 PM

Another quote from the same game:

She's trying to say "your brain is in a box" XXX.

(XXX is a name. We don't wan't it to be too easy, do we? )

diego 04-25-2012 06:35 AM

I don't know... i'll take it's some of the classics, possibly with a sidekick looking at that second quote... Toonstruck?

Sefir 04-25-2012 09:11 PM

Nope Diego!
However, it IS a mid90's game, I give you that...

Another quote from the same game:
You're giving off a lot of orders for a civillian.

SpeedBo 04-26-2012 02:31 AM

Beneath a Steel Sky?

Sefir 04-26-2012 04:09 AM

Nope SppedBo!
But you might be close.... (it is a sci-fi adventure after all!!)

Sefir 04-27-2012 04:53 AM

It's been over a week....I'm starting to feel a little weird....

Anyway, last hint:The protagonist is probably (along with Bad Mojo perhaps...) the strangest character you are ever going to play in adventure game history.

Jawa 04-27-2012 05:34 AM

Begins with a D. I never played the game though, so I'll give someone else a shot:P

diego 04-28-2012 11:57 AM

The strangest character... hmmm... He/she is not human? Bazooka Sue?

Sefir 04-28-2012 12:51 PM

Nope Diego, it's not that.

Jawa is right however....it does begin with a D. (and Jawa, I recommend you to play it!! It is a...unique experience. If you get used to the strange interface, there are many clever puzzles.)

diego 04-28-2012 01:11 PM

What's the point of giving hints and not answering by yourself?

DogDay?

Sefir 04-28-2012 01:35 PM

No Diego, it is slightly older than DogDay (I never played that. Is it good?).

Another quote from the same game:
There's no such thing as a hopeless situation.

skeeter_93 04-28-2012 06:00 PM

Discworld?

Sefir 04-28-2012 11:34 PM

Nope skeeter_93, it is not Disc. Same year however....

(To avoid misunderstandings: The game title begins with a "D", in the same way that, for example, "the Longest Journey" begins with an "L". )

Stalkinpanda 04-29-2012 02:34 AM

Purely based on the date, the fact that it's a sci-fi, the hint that it starts with a 'd'...I am going to say "The Dig".
I don't recognise any of the quotes though (been a long time since I've played that game).

Edit: Just did a quick AG search from 1995 and found another freaky sci-fi game that better fits the desciption. Never played it though, so no further guesses from me ;)

Sefir 04-29-2012 02:43 AM

Thanks for trying Stalkinpanda.....it is not the Dig.

diego 04-29-2012 03:31 AM
