Is the scene of Lewton talking to Ilsa in Discworld Noir supposed to throw us off or is it a big, giant clue as to where the quote is from? Cause if it is Discworld Noir you really didn't have to make it that easy!

You're not serious, are you?

I only reacted to a post previous of mine, I neither could (It's NOT MY TURN) nor did post a new quote for guessing.

This case calls for a serious law enforcement:

let's see what the rules have to say:

So, the only person who can tell if another person is right and free to post the next quote, is the person who posted the quote. In this case, it's Mr. Commodore. Do you object, Mr. Commodore:

"No, Sir!"

Ok, let's see what's Mr. Commodore has to say:

Next, Mr. zobraks posted the quote in an unusual form of the screenshot. However, in accordance of the "Place that quote!" resolution page 2054 section 3 paragraph 5 line 100 amended law no. 13 - there's absolutely no mention of prohibiting this way of posting the quotes, which makes Mr. zobraks' question completely valid.

I believe Mr. Jon_wachter is right about the game, but it remains for Mr. zobraks to confirm it.

"And so, ladies and gentleman of the jury I rest my case."

SweetDalilah 03-13-2012 07:19 AM

Yup, I posted my guess before Commodore approved your guess, but a few minutes later he edited his post and decided to approve your guess after all. So legitimately it's your turn zobraks! :D I have no problem with that, unless of course you don't want your turn

As for the DN quote referring to me, oh yes, you'll be seeing me a lot more ;) Everywhere

No, he didn't. He just poked fun at SD.

The last time I checked, Commodore said SD got it (and rightfully so), so it's HER turn. I see now that he later changed his mind in my favo(u)r, but that's not OK.

I won't show my private parts to the jury (as Diego did) :P, that's all.

That's exactly what happened Attachment 3322, but I didn't really want to make a fuss over nothing Attachment 3321 (Btw when did you become so truthful and honest? Attachment 3324 Attachment 3323)

I'll post the next quote sometime tomorrow because I have a lot to study tonight  :frusty:

Yup, it's Runaway: The Dream of the Turtle Attachment 3329

TerminusEst 03-15-2012 05:54 PM

Ooh, rare steaks, just how I like them! Just cut off its horns and wipe its ass.

Apologies for the crude language :)

harald 03-16-2012 07:28 AM

Could it be from the last episode from Hector: Badge of Carnage?

Jon_wachter 03-16-2012 10:21 AM

Oh man Hector Badge ofcourse, I feel so stupid now :-(. But maybe I can still save some dignity by guessing the correct episode. I think it's the 2nd episode Senseless acts of justice. When you get the mail order meat or whatever it is.

TerminusEst 03-16-2012 11:38 AM

It is indeed episode two of Hector. The quote is from when Hector reads the menu in the disgusting beef-only restaurant. I love the humor in this game. It is crude but it is IMHO superior to the humor in American-produced games. Another game that made me laugh a lot recently was Cuboy - another game made by Brits. There is something to be said about the superiority of British humor :-)

So who goes now?

Origami 03-16-2012 04:02 PM

Hector a british game? I thought Telltale was based in America

Jon_wachter 03-16-2012 04:29 PM

Telltale is american but they have the good sense to continue already popular franchises like Hector Badge, Sam & Max and Monkey Island instead of trying to do something new and thank god for that.

Hector was developed by Straandlooper, which is based in Northern Ireland. I believe that it was the first out-of-house production that Telltale has published.

harald 03-17-2012 05:18 AM

You can continue if you want, Jon. I got the two episodes mixed up. Also, I don't know what to post at the moment.

Jon_wachter 03-17-2012 06:33 AM

Okay I'm cutting the quote down a little so as to not make it too easy...although it probably will be anyways

"... ....... and I've got a date with ........"

Jon_wachter 03-20-2012 01:56 PM

Please relax don't all try to answer at the same time!

I'll try a new quote from a different more popular game then, see if that helps.

"Don't go into the public sector Keith, you'll never hear the end of it".
