Anyone want to post a new one? I'm out of ideas right now.

Alright:

Who said "The company logo", and what was it in reference to?

For some reason I think it's said about a dollar sign.

Well, after 10 days without the guess, i'm afraid we'll need something more than a plain "No"

Alright, I shall give a hint.

"The company logo" is said about a particular religious symbol.

But who said it (or at least what game), and what symbol was it?

I'm going to guess The Longest Journey. I have no idea who says it or what symbol it is or the reference but I can live without the extra credit bonus points if it's the right answer :-).

Nothing is happening with this quote, I think somebody should go ahead and post a new one. I've got a feeling there's not enough time left of 2011 to solve the current one.

Did someone call out to me?

Now here's a good one: this quote is from a game I haven't actually played. (I just watched the video-walkthrough)

"Greedy pack of vultures, these guys'd kill their mothers for a scoop"

Have fun!

Could it be "The next big thing", I haven't played it but I know it's about journalists.

I played and liked The Next Big Thing (despite it's underwhelming ending) so no. The game I'm looking for isn't about journalists but they do feature in it.

Okay trying to keep the pace up so here's another quote from the same game. It's from a scene that I imagine is much more memorable so this should make things a lot easier

"no one must see"

Fair enough.

Perhaps it was a bit too... ordinary.

It was Edna from "Edna and Harvey", and the item was the cross in the church.
------
I will guess... "The Backstroke of the West"?

Wait...

Well since no one tried to hazard a guess here's a third quote from the smae game

"Something in his eyes"

People who've played the game should be starting to get a faint inkling by now

Since still no one seems to dare touch this one(do you guys have a rule of not guessing quizzes in the weekend?) here's yet another quote from the same game. It's spoken by the same character as the first line(this person has a wonderful way of expressing himself) and is quite symbolical on so many levels.

"We're wasting our time with this bullshit"

Fine I'll break my no weekend guess rule just this once. Still have no clue but it's new game right? So could it be L.A. Noire?

You're very close, and yes it's a new game

Time for the dead giveaway:

"Watch my lips asshole, 'cause I've got no time to translate"
