It would be funny if it were one of the Days games, as those are the only AGS games I really know of.>_>

diego got it!
It's the first Larry Vales game. Personally I didn't find these games very funny, apart from the line I chose to quote. |

Nope, but you're on the right track - it's a comedy and it DOES feature a horse (obviously). Also, it's newer than those 2 titles

It's Froderick from A Vampyre Story, when Mona tries to talk to the horse in the stable. (In fact, this line comes from the very same screen as this exchange. )

Aaaand... the demon gets it!
BTW, i put aside A Vampyre Story for a long time, and now just coming back to it... humor might not always be a hit, but there are many nice quotes to be found |

OK, new quote:
"I'm like a puppet with someone else pulling my strings. They decide what I can and can't do. Sorta like in those computer games... y'know what I mean?"

I'm pretty sure it's Brian Basco in Runaway3.
If I'm allowed to make a back up guess, I'll say Hector Badge 2....if I'm not allowed to, then forget I just guessed that :-). |

OK, right character but wrong game, so that really narrows down the possibilities, doesn't it??? (Bonus points to anyone who knows who Brian was talking to when he said that line.)

Okay, so Runaway a Road adventure and maybe while talking to one of few characters I can remember the name of Joshua?
I'm only guessing this to confirm that it's actually Runaway 2 :-). |

Yes, it's Runaway: A Road Adventure. (Brian is talking to Sushi Douglas about his life spinning out of control ever since meeting Gina.)
Spoiler:

So right game wrong character. I guess 1/2 right.
PS. Haha I created the "Place that character" thread, but I was sloppy when writing and the thread kind of took on a life of it's own after I quickly abbandoned it. |

Resurrection time for the "Place that character"-thread?
I'm just saying that because threads like these cover a wide variety of often less mainstream adventures. It could put some small gems that went under the radar back in the spotlight... Those two Vampyre Story quotes alone have made me take a second - or was it third/fourth already? - look at the game. I've added it to my (already far too long) list of games to play...

I only got it half right, so I don't really know what to do here. I guess since I got the game right though and since Trunkyo hasn't responded I'll go ahead and post a new one.
"let's see here, The yarn network, The Menendez brothers comedy hour, ah here we go good ol' USA network". May not be an exact quote but close enough to recognize. |

I don't recognize the quote, but could it be from Duckman? (Seeing as the TV series originally aired on the USA network.)

Damn it, I made it too easy didn't I? I know I should have cut the quote short, oh well Duckman is correct. So good work.
