Which Simon game was that quote from? Was it from the 1st game when Simon meets a druid or the 3rd when Simon meets the drunken druid?

From the first game, where Simon met the Barbarian (that gave Simon a whistle).
Next quote: "It's a slightly singed hand puppet... I'll call him Smokey!" Guess away... Last edited by TimovieMan; 10-27-2011 at 01:20 PM. Reason: Made quote bold so it stands out more. |

My first guess would have been one of the Runaway games or Simon, but cant remember any hand puppets so lets go with MI4 cause there are hand puppets in that game for sure.

None of the three, but I'll give you guys some more time before handing out hints. Game's popular enough, imo.

Probably not, but I'll make 2 wild guesses:
Gilbert Goodmate or Flight of the Amazon queen ? They're not VERY known, but they have sock puppets as I recall... |

It's got to be Sam & Max! But which one...tough. Ice Station Santa maybe? But could also be "The City that dares not sleep"....too many seasons, too many choices.

It is a fun game. I played it when I was younger...
The long talk between Joe and the dungeon/jail guy with the puppets And ended with Joe yelling something like ...I don't want that stupid puppet! Anyways, I can't think of anything, so, I'll go with an easy one: Me?! I would rather by hanged by my hair over a bed of scorpions Someone grab it quick! |

I am pretty sure I haven't played the game that quote is from, but lets make a guess anyways since nobody else is. Fate of Atlantis maybe something Sophia would say to Indy. Probably not though.

Very good game choice,(and yes it sounds like something Sophia could say...) but not the game my quote is from...
It's not a LucasArts game, but it IS a very classic point and click 90's adventure. Ok, the exact little part of the dialog is : -It's perfectly understandable.I know you have certain feelings for me. Quite naturally... -Me?! I would rather be hung by my hair over a bed of scorpions! |

Okay if it's a 90's game I should have played it, unless it's a Kings Quest/Space Quest game cause I only played KQ7 and SQ6. But okay lets see, I'm guessing it could be Flight of the Amazon queen, but could you be so sneaky that you pulled the same trick that I did haha.
Well my real guess (although I am certain I am wrong) would be Leisure Suit Larry Love for Sail. |

Nope, no tricks just THIS TIME, maybe later...you never know...
Well, now that you mentioned all those games, you're on the right track... because it IS a Sierra game and it IS part of a series...just none of the ones you mentioned... Are some brain cogs working? Ping! Last edited by kate me; 10-31-2011 at 11:47 AM. |

Bingo! GK 1 it is!
It's the scene with the snake tatoo (day 6 I think...) Gabriel is trying to convince Grace to use the paints on him . Resulting in an ironic, sarcastic .... as usual ,dialog. I could have used a more memorable quote, but that would have been guessed in a sec! Quote:
Quote:
Play the game! GK 1 is one of the greatest AG's !!! (except my Broken Sword... yes, I have to say that, don't pan me guys, U know I'm addicted to it, more then any other game! ) Place your quote TimovieMan! |

I don't like BS 4 either! I didn't feel like playing BS and Anna Maria was pain in the.... you get the point!
I like the GK series, played and replayed all 3 ones, and like 'em in the order they came out actually! And the second one is the first FMV I've played and really liked. I like GK let's say as much as Simon , Kyrandia or Discworld... |

Currently replaying the LucasArts games, and after that I'm playing the Gabriel Knight series, I promise!
Next quote: May we have some QUIET please?! I can't even begin to invoke the Dead with all that screaming! |
