I think it's from a game I've played, but still leaves quite a few possibilities... Two guesses (I know it should be just one, but since nobody else is guessing...):

1) Beneath a Steel Sky (where the hero does get a hole in his head)
2) Dreamfall (not sure why I'm thinking of that one...)

Both are probably wrong, though. I definitely wouldn't mind a hint or another quote.

Shany 01-15-2011 03:31 AM

It is a figurative hole, I think.
While a picture would be too much of a giveaway I'll give an easier quote (which I'm probably misquoting :P):

"Come on, this is New York, who actually drives?"

kate me 01-15-2011 04:12 AM

I am convinced it's from a Blackwell game! And the guy who said that is Joey!
I'm trying to remember which one.:frusty:

Fantasysci5 01-15-2011 05:33 AM

Well, I know the second quote is by Rosa in the "Blackwell Legacy" game at the beginning, where she left her driver's license upstairs when the guy at the door wants proof of her living there.

Shany 01-15-2011 08:06 AM

kate_me was close, but Fantasysci 5 got it.

Both quotes are spoken by Rosa in Blackwell Legacy. The first one is what she says when you enter node-space and choose to inquire about Rosa's head. That line makes me laugh every time.

Fantasysci5 01-15-2011 01:19 PM

Kate me, you can post the quote. I'm not sure I would have gotten it without your help. :)

kate me 01-16-2011 07:44 AM

Thanks!
Here's one:

"Cochee cochee coo! who's a sweet little baby, then?" :D

I'll give a hint:
The main character of the game has to keep the baby quiet.:Z

Yes, it's surprisingly easy when you know the answer.

DustyShinigami 01-20-2011 12:40 PM

Indeed. That's why it's Simon the Sorcerer II. :D

kate me 01-20-2011 01:15 PM

It is!
It's the scene in the castle with the baby, princess and the pea!
That cracks me up!

:DCongratulations! You won a free meal at Mc'swampy's !:D

Your quote, Gazzoid!

Ooh! In that case, I'll have a puss burger with dandruff fries and a sweat shake, please. :9

Okay, erm...

"...And not one of those wet bones. I'm talking a dry, dry bone."

Tales of Monkey Island, Episode 1 i think

DustyShinigami 01-21-2011 07:44 AM

Correct.

diego 01-21-2011 07:55 AM

Next one:

It's a simple building, built for a simple man, who holds an even simpler view of the law.

diego 01-22-2011 06:28 AM

The line is spoken by a narrator.

Trunkyo 01-22-2011 10:14 AM

It's from Al Emmo and the Lost Dutchman's Mine (I'm playing the game right now! :D)

diego 01-22-2011 10:28 AM

Hehe, correct of course!

Trunkyo 01-22-2011 11:14 AM

OK, new quote:

"Great naked wallabies! Get the hell away from me!"
