So... is it right Origami?

jhetfield21 01-04-2011 06:23 PM

has this thread gone downhill or what?hoping origami will see the post and this thread will resume.

harald 01-07-2011 04:52 AM

I suppose Origami must have simply forgotten about the thread. The quote is from one of the gameplay trailers: http://www.ign.com/videos/2010/12/15...marty-gameplay

So I think it's safe to say it's zobraks' turn.

zobraks 01-07-2011 08:58 AM

OK, you asked for it:

Quote:

Of course I got a mouth... AND I MUST SCREAM!
:7
Who said this and in what adventure game was it?

Fien 01-07-2011 04:48 PM

My eyes are wide open... I see the trap right in front of me... don't fall into trap... must resist... oooooohh I'm falling....

Ellen in I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream...? :shifty:

skeeter_93 01-07-2011 09:36 PM

Sunny in So Blonde?

No, this quote is just a witty reference to IHNMaIMS, I presume.
The mysterious adventure is quite opposite/diametrically opposed to I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream.
The character that uttered the words actually SHOUTS ALL THE TIME :D.

No.

Shany 01-08-2011 06:10 AM

Somehow I think of the captain/colonel/army guy from Runaway 2...

jhetfield21 01-08-2011 06:31 AM

yeah i kind of understand what you mean......but it reminds me of two characters.the first part about the mouth reminds me of the stupid soldier O'Conner but the second not so much.the second reminds me more of Colonel Kordsmeier with that "i can do it and i'm not afraid to do it" attitude.

This one is yelling even harder (much harder) than the colonel Kordsmeier! :D

Neither of them, although the mysterious character is almost as stupid as Zachariah O'Connor :pan::D.

His shouting is put to a good purpose by the main character of the (yet) unknown game. ;)

harald 01-08-2011 09:53 AM

This is probably wrong, but it can't hurt to try:

Hitler in "Time Gentlemen, Please!"?

His shouting is - sort of - put to use by the protagonist(s).

You're right - the answer is wronnnnggg! BTW, it's not Bormann either, but at least he shares the same initial with the mysterious character.

Hitler's shouting cannot be put to any good use whatsoever. It's only good for cheap laughs (if you don't have the slightest idea who the "wacky funny fellow with ridiculous moustache" is and what's he talking about, that is).

It's kind of a stretch:
Spoiler:
You need to use the microphone in his machine, which changes everything you say into Hitler's voice and accent.
So no, it's not *his* shouting per se. Only kind of. Good thing I wasn't hurt trying though. :)

Bando from "The Whispered World" maybe?

:D

Fien 01-10-2011 01:14 PM

AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!
I SHOULD HAVE RECOGNIZED THAT QUOTE! :frusty:

On the other hand.... I played it in German. :)

Shany 01-10-2011 04:06 PM

I suspected it was Bando, but hoped it wasn't because my next quote was from TWW as well. (for those curious it was "Typical, too big to go to bed, yet too small to save the world")
Bando was really funny, and you can make so many inappropriate videos from the stuff he says...

Well, let's see if anyone knows this one:
"I have a hole in my head?"

Shany 01-14-2011 06:57 AM

Well, this line is kind of hard because this is one of those games where you can miss out on the dialogue option you didn't choose.

Should I post another line from the same game?

kate me 01-14-2011 07:40 AM

I have No IDEA!
Does this character literary "have a hole in his head" or figuratively?!:D

So... ...Hints! Hints! or another quote from it...
