Oh man how I hated that game. The was no logic to it whatsoever. The pictures were fine though.

chal 07-13-2010 11:58 AM

Well, Douglas Adams and logic are seldom used in the same senence.

tsa 07-13-2010 12:19 PM

That is certainly true. But I must say, the book was much better than the game.

Next quote:

"I always suspected you of being a voyeur..."

tsa 07-13-2010 09:18 PM

I can imagine the red-haired girl in GK II saying something like that. Am I correct?

Trunkyo 07-14-2010 05:20 AM

This line is not from GK2... (Tim Curry's portrayal of Gabe in GK3 makes him sound really lecherous at times, though. I can just imagine Grace and Madeline's  and :shifty:.)

Jodokall 07-14-2010 06:35 AM

Beneath a Steel Sky? Just played that game a couple months ago.

Ooo, I meant GK III. There was no red haired girl in GK II, was there?

Trunkyo 07-14-2010 07:17 AM

Beneath a Steel Sky is correct! :D (Said by Joey to Foster, right before jumpstarting the transporter robot with his... "probe".)

It's now your turn, Jodokall. :)

Jodokall 07-14-2010 09:07 AM

This one might be too easy...

"Dmnkly!"

Is THAT one GK2? As in, the cuckoo clock shop/puzzle...?

diego 07-15-2010 03:56 AM

Right you are.

rayvio 07-17-2010 02:09 PM

we seem to be missing a quote to guess so hope nobody minds me waking this up again...

"if you hear a loud explosion any time soon, the trip's off"

I think the problem with this thread is that it takes a while not just to come up with a quote but also to confirm it. Even if you've allready got a quote in mind you still have to see if what you remember is correct or at it's worst was in the game you thought it was. Luckilly for me I found a videowalkthrough but I can imagine people having to play games all over just to find the right quote.
