*sigh* Should have known it would be too good to be true. Ah well. Perhaps the missus will still be keen enough to play that she'll decide it's okay to pay, considering we're both out of work at the moment.

Is this really an adventure game, or an action "adventure"? I'm not sure if I'm in a mood of looking at the good doctor jumping around, moving crates, pulling levers, and generally doing Super Mario's work.

Default Holy Cow. They made Adventure Games for Doctor Who

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doctor_...dventure_Games
And they're awesome.

ok, it might be more enjoyable if you're into Doctor W. but, I've played a lot of Adventure Games in my life - all the Classics and new ones - and I'd say this one is an 8/10. On the Easy side. Like the new Sam Maxes only slightly (even)easier since it's supposed to be targetting 'all the family'.

BTW, It's surprising that its 'console puzzles' are very original.

I thought it was fun running round hiding from Daleks. I remember when I was a kid (about 30 years ago) running screaming from the original Daleks at a Doctor Who exhibit in Blackpool. Nice to see that I can still scream as much today.

It's not the greatest game ever, but in the attempt to bring the franchise to the gaming community it gets the thumbs up from me

Keep 'em coming!

Was it at the original exhibit where you walk into the Tardis and go underground or the massive one on the sea front? The one I remember was on a side street and had the old Tardis console room in it from the Tom Baker era (thankfully not the oak panelled one)

If it was the original, I'd love to see it. It was so long ago that I remember it in black and white and I have to bang my own head to get a clear reception.

Yay - Daleks!

I'd have to ask my parents, I don't really remember.... I just know there's a photo of us there. I can't wait for the games to be available internationally!

Default New Doctor Who episode is out!

Another adventure game - Yay!

And the Cybermen are at it again - Boo!!

But after some annoying controls in the first episode, this seems so much easier to manage. The story is also much more fulfilling

Sound's like the next episode will have a brand new monster to defeat, and hopefully because of the success of the first two, we could see even more on the way.

Anyway - If you are in the UK, head over to bbc.co.uk/doctorwho to get Blood of the Cybermen for the PC, the Mac version is on it's way. The rest of the world - Sorry You'll have to fork out some cash for this. But it's worth it.

...Oh and there's the the season finale tonight!

LOL - Sorry Dale.

Was going to post before now, but managed to download and complete it. Much easier than the Dalek story, but far more enjoyable. At least you don't die every 5 seconds in this one.

Enjoy the finale tonight - Sense it's going to be a good one! Just found this picture from the very first dalek outing on BBC!

So I've been a Dr Who fan since I was a kid but because I don't live in the UK I have to pay for this? That's complete bullshit. The BBC are a bunch of assholes. Let me be very clear on this BBC. I will NOT pay for something that is given away for free to UK residents and I shouldn't be penalized because I live elsewhere. This is complete crap. Then again why should I care...the show's degenerated into a complete pile of drivel with an actor who acts mildly retarded and is more effeminate than his female companion. The only redeeming feature of the show is River but even that's not enough to make me care about future seasons. Go to hell BBC and take Sylvester McCoy Version 2.0 with you...wait that's harsh. I should apologize to Sylvester McCoy for comparing him to Matt Smith's pathetic handling of the character. In case you folks at the BBC have forgotten, pissing on your fans was a huge part of why the show went off the air the first time....

Us Brits have to pay for the BBC you know? We've already paid for the games.
