freddy Pharkas Frontier pharmacist released as Freeware (i think)
hey guys, i was searching the web for some freeware adventure games a few months back and came across freddy Pharkas Frontier pharmacist. it' was the compleate game with talky. it was on the creators website, so i'm guessing it's 100% legal to download. what i'm asking is, that if you know the link, post it. i never got the chance to download it and i'm sure that other people who want to download it aswell. if you send the guy a check/money order he will burn you a copy of the offical game. i forget how mutch it was. it jsut covers the CD-R, the case, postage and shipment. so it's probibly around 7 dollers.

I've got the original 3.5 disk version,
which I love. But I'm tempted to d/l this version for the voices.

Bah. I can't make it work via dosbox. The game runs, but the digital audio is garbled (though the MIDI is fine).

That site states that "The ripped Sierra Originals rereleased CD-ROM version is now up for download", is there more than one game with it?? he makes it sound like it's a collection.

The Sierra Originals was the name of the budget label for adventure games if that's what you mean Wonton
I think the game included a demo of KQ5 but nothing more than that. It had a few demos along with it for Sierra products.

That song is funny even on the non-speech version.

What if Al Lowe would make an album, and put there songs like Freddy Pharkas theme, sing all the songs himself and of course play saxophone.
And then there could be guest stars on the album, some great blues guys or something. Now that would be something great.

It may not be pure RPG neither pure western but it sounds cool.
