Default Help me find a game...

So I tried out the SAFECRACKER: The Ultimate Puzzle Adventure, and I really like that style of gameplay, solving many different puzzles to access other puzzles. Any game suggestions that have this kind of similar gameplay?

thats a really tough question for me to answer because there is nothing that i despise more than puzzles in my adventure games. but i do remember that i think sherlock holmes vs arsene lupin had a lot of really hard puzzle things (thats why i didnt really enjoy that one that much)

if you have a DS you might want to check out Professor Layton or whatever his name is.

Dr. Layton and the Curious Village for DS.
The game has a mellow storyline based around a large collection of puzzles to solve.

Try Barrow Hill, Dark Fall 1 + 2, The Lost Crown.

Hey, those are usually my reccomendations! lol

Rhem is a pretty puzzle-oriented game, as is Aura.

Yeah...I got a bit worried about you there! But I thought that maybe you're on holiday or something.
But I love them as much as you do.

Shivers and the first Safecracker from 1998 (made by a different company than the 2006 Safecracker) would probably be closest.
Other similar games would be

7th Guest
Aura
Jewels of the Oracle
Jewels 2 (Gems of Darkness)
Schizm 2 (aka Mysterious Journey 2)
Sentinel (aka Realms of Illusion)
Azada (the first one -- not the "Ancient Magic" one)

The Jewels games will probably have to be played in Windows 95 or 98. At one point Dreamcatcher "updated" Jewels of the Oracle to work in XP by removing the transitional cut scenes. Jewels 2 was never "updated." If you don't have an older computer with Windows 95 or 98, you may want to try the games in Virtual PC.

At one point there was an XP patch for 7th Guest. There are some tips on getting 7th Guest running at Vogons

There's no need to worry about that. ScummVM now supports it.
