You’re right … Sheila Goold was not in Exile. Although the actress in Exile was also pretty and did a good job, I would have preferred Sheila as Catherine in all the Myst games. She embodied Catherine IMO and upgraded Atrus because of her charisma and mysterious quality. Strange that she was actually seen in Riven only briefly but with great impact.

You're right, even though we didn't see Catherine hardly at all in Riven, when we did see her I was blown away with awe and a bit of jealousy. I thought she was so gorgeous in that red dress, and her like black hair that a lot of people say I look like her. I wish I did.

And back on topic, I know this may be a bit off, but I can see Sean Bean as Brian Westhouse. I always pictured Westhouse as a type of rough-and-tumble kind of guy, and I can't put my finger on who I want to play him. lol

If you're referring to the Sean Bean who played the Cowboy in "The Big Empty", then you're not alone; I can totally see that. And on the topic of TLJ... Adam Carolla = Burns Flipper. But maybe that one's too obvious.

I posted in this thread that a perfect Guybrush would be Seth Green, but he's maybe a little old now. Perhaps Michael Cera, but he could possibly be too weedy!

So is she a singer or an actress because I am kind of lost here.

ANd Gary Oldman for Brian would be divine I am sure.

I think that Alyson Hannigan would make a perfect April Ryan.

Yes, I believe he was born for that role.

Eh...I'm not into Ugly Betty or ER either (never seen Ugly Betty and saw one ep of ER and generaly disliked it) I am however a major fan of a crime series called Life in wich she also stars. In Bad Boys II she played Marcus's sister and Mike's lover.

And she's in fact both a singer as well as an actress. She's also a model by the way

I know it's confusing.

Probably startet out as a model then turned singer and finally actress. Though I'm not sure that's the correct order. It's the most common one

At this point my guess is as good as yours

Ok thanks for clearing this for me...
Anyway still she looks too plastic and common to play aristocratic Malia as far as I am concerned.

How about Halle Berry from like ten years ago

Far better, definetly. I'm a big fan of Life, not of Gabrielle Union

So if you could just build a time machine, go back ten years and pick Halle Berry up that be great !

I was talking about the Sean Bean who played in the British "Sharp" episodes, and of course 'Boromir' in the "Lord of the Rings'. I'm not exactly sure why I'd want him. And who's Adam Carolla? Burns I picture as like Jay from "Jay and Silent Bob", who just cuses non-stop. lol

Skinny, curly-haired guy, who co-hosted the sex advice show "Lovelines" with Dr. Drew. The moment I heard Burns talk, I had to check the credits to see if it was indeed Adam Carolla voicing him.

He could probably voice Crow, too... but in the interest of keeping things interesting, I'd probably pick Norm MacDonald.

Bump because after watching HBO's True Blood, I think this guy would be a great Gabriel Knight.

I can't help but agree. Not only Eric is my favorite True Blood character (along with Lafayette), but Alexander will be indeed a perfect choice for Gabriel!

No love for Dean Erickson? I know he quit acting a long while ago, but I still think he did a memorable Gabriel in The Beast Within.

Erickson was great, but I guess this is hypothetical for if the movie for whichever adventure game was made today.

I think that Milla Jovovich would make a good April Ryan.

Aaron Eckhart as George Stobbart would be good.

Isn't he a bit old ? Such a shame Michael J Fox got parkinsons he'd be perfect as George. (I know he's old to but he's got a babyface)

I'm all for Josh Holloway as Gabriel Knight, mmmmmmm ♥
Though the other candidates weren't exactly bad either.

Milla Jovovich could be April in Dreamfall, but I'm not sure if she could pull of the 18-yo (or so) April in TLJ. I think I'd go for Jemima Rooper for some reason. I just really like her .

Jemima's co-star from Lost in Austen Gemma Arterton might actually work as Zoë.

Aaron Eckhart seems like a decent Stobbart for me.

Gary Oldman could play anything , Sean Bean might not be bad Brian either.

I agree that Gabrielle Union is not good enough for Malia, she should be aristocratic, stunning and scary, Gabrielle is mostly just cute.

I'm sure I could find more suggestions if I put some work to it but don't have the time now :p. Perhaps I'll poke in if I happend to have an epiphany when watching TV or something.
